2 18 th. National Parade / 18 - Desfile Nacional RULES FOR PARTICIPATION: 1. All organizations must submit a list of all person to participate in the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Inc. with their name, address and telephone number. 2. Bands and folkloric groups are not included in group of 50. Only 50 persons per group (unless another amount is authorized). No one allowed to march without wrist bands. 3. All participants must identify Puerto Rican heritage, culture and pride with exception of participants representing other cultures. 4. Float design and marching contingent must be described at time of application. 5. All participants must reflect a respect for general public decency and moral values, this includes Dress Code 6. The use of the Puerto Rican flag as part of an outfit or to decorate a float, must be done in a respectable and dignified manner. Flags with symbols will not be allowed. 7. Participation applications must be post-marked no later than April 15, No political or electoral advertisement or signs may be displayed by any contingent. 9. NO THIRD-PARTIES will be allowed to march with Original group that signed on the Application. 10. All participants must adhere to the instructions of Parade Coordinators during the parade. 11. The parade or its designee may expel any participant on the day of the parade for cause including but not limited for failure in follow the directions of Parade Field Coordinators. 12. The fee is $ payable to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, Inc. by money order submitted together with this application. 13. All organizations who build their own floats must provide a copy of an Insurance Policy to the Parade committee NO EXCEPTIONS. REGLAS DE PARTICIPACION: 1. Toda organización tiene que someter al Desfile Nacional Puertorriqueño un listado de todas las personas que participarán incluyendo nombre, residencia y número de teléfono. 2. Bandas y grupos folklóricos no estan incluídos en el grupo de 50. Sólamente desfilarán 50 personas por grupo, (a menos que se autorize otra cantidad). No se permitirá personas marchar sin bandas de identificación. 3. Todo participante identificaran con orqullo su cultura y herencia puertorriqueña, con excepción de aquellos participantes que representan otras culturas. 4. El diseño de la carroza y su contingente deben de ser descritos cuando se llena la solicitud de participación. 5. Todos los participantes deben de mostrar respeto hacia los valores morales del público en general, incluyendo vestimenta adecuada (em. Guayaberas, uniformes, etc.) 6. El uso de la bandera puertorriqueña como parte del vestuario ó decoración de una carroza deberá ser debidamente presentada con respeto y dignidad. No se permitirán banderas con símbolos impresos. 7. Las solicitudes de participación deben de estar registradas por el correo (matasellos) no más tarde del 15 de abril del Ningún anuncio ó rótulo electoral ó de campaña política puede ser desplegado por ningún contingente. 9. NO SE PERMITIRAN incluir otros grupos para marchar juntos con el grupo que somete la solicitud de Participación. 10. Todos los participantes deben seguir las instrucciones de los Coordinadores de la Parada durante el Desfile. 11. Ell desfile o su designado tiene el derecho de expulsar cualquier participante el día del desfile por alguna causa, incluyendo,pero no limitado a no seguir las instrucciones de los Coordinadores del desfile. 12. La cuota de participación de $ pagado a nombre del National Puerto Rican Day Parade, Inc. giro postal incluído con la solicitud de participación.
