1 SUMMER LEARNING OPPORTUNITY!!! EXTENDED YEAR PROGRAM The middle school Extended Year Program (Summer School) is being offered by Argyle Middle School. When: July 5 th July 29 th Classes being offered are: Support Reading 6 and 7/8 For rising 6 th, 7 th, & 8 th graders who would benefit from reading enrichment and review over the summer. Time: 7:45am to 11:30am Where: Strathmore Elementary School due to renovations at Argyle Middle School. Free breakfast & lunch provided to ALL students that attend. Bus transportation will be provided for students that qualify. Support Math 6 For rising 6 th graders who would benefit from a review of the content from previous math curricula and previews the Math 6 curriculum. Support Math 7 For rising 6 th, 7 th & 8 th graders entering into Math 7 as well as a preview of the IM curriculum. Support Algebra Prep Support For rising 7 th and 8 th graders only who need review of the previous math curricula and a preview of the Algebra Prep curriculum. ENROLL TODAY!!!! Los padres/guardianes tienen que informar a la coordinadora del Programa de Verano sobre cualquier problema con la custodia del estudiante; problemas de salud o alguna acomodación que este requiera. El estudiante tiene que seguir las reglas y regulaciones de MCPS y de las escuelas intermedias para el Programa de Verano. Los padres/guardianes entienden que este programa necesita la asistencia regular del estudiante, por tal razón los padres/encargados y los estudiantes se comprometen a hacer de la asistencia una prioridad. Yo entiendo que la asistencia al programa un solo día hará al estudiante inelegible para un reembolso. Y que solo se podrá hacer una excepción si el estudiante asistió menos de una semana y hay que retirarlo del programa porque está hospitalizado.
