Dear People of God, Finally, a little warmer weather! I see daffodils and crocus starting to come up in our planters The grass is a little greener. Of course we will probably have some more icy weather and icy temperatures coming our way, but Spring is knocking on our front doors. New life in Christ! Ferguson events continue with various governmental changes in the news. We go forward with everyone's prayers and good will. I want to thank Sr. Cathy for the wonderful Tuesday meeting we had with famous Sr. Antona Ebo. She is living history, and it was a privilege to hear her personal story of the civil rights struggle. Thursday nights we have quiet prayer time in church at 7:00 pm, and Fridays at 6:30 pm we have Stations of the Cross is available. We fast and pray, asking God's mercy on us and our world. Please pray for peace. Reconciliation (Confession) is available this coming Wednesday, March 18th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, as well as Thursday nights, 7:00 pm and Saturdays after 4:00 pm. Queridos Pueblo de Dios, Por último, el clima esta un poco más caliente! Veo narcisos y crocos empezando a salir en nuestras jardineras. La hierva esta un poco más verde. Por supuesto probablemente tendremos temperaturas heladas en nuestro camino, pero la primavera está llamando a nuestras puertas. Nueva vida en Cristo! Los eventos en Ferguson continúan en las noticias con varios cambios de gobierno. Seguimos adelante con las oraciones de todos y la buena voluntad. Quiero agradecer a la Hna. Cathy por la maravillosa reunión del martes que tuvimos con la famosa hermana Antona Ebo; ella es historia viva, y fue un privilegio de escuchar su historia personal de la lucha por los derechos civiles. El jueves por la noche tenemos tiempo de oración silenciosa en la iglesia a las 7:00 pm, y los viernes a las 6:30 pm tenemos el Vía Crusis.
