Masterpact NW Circuit Breaker with rcblok Technology Installation Section 3 Circuit Breaker Installation Install Bussing ENGLISH NOTICE The busbar supports must be placed to support the weight of the bussing system and to withstand magnetic forces caused by short-circuit currents. See Figure 19,. Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage. NOTE: Installer is responsible for bussing to connectors. Bus supports must be braced (Figure 19, B) to prevent short circuit forces from deflecting the connectors. The busbar supports () must be placed to support the weight of the bussing system and to withstand magnetic forces caused by short-circuit currents. Busbars should be adjusted to ensure that the connection points are correctly positioned before the bolts (C) are inserted. Bussing must be supported by framework of the switchgear, with no weight on connectors. Bussing requirements by circuit breaker and connector are shown in Table 7. Figure 19 Busbar Connections C B C NOTE: Installer is responsible for bussing to connectors. Bussing must be supported by framework of the switchgear, with no weight on connectors.
