Police: Sure! let me see, mmm you re going the wrong way Linda: Is it far from here? I`m new in this neighborhood and I don`t know how to move around. Can you tell me how to get there? Giving directions Useful vocabulary Giving directions We use prepositions of movement when we want to show movement to or from a place. They usually appear with a verb in its imperative form. Let s check some common expressions we use to give directions that include these prepositions. Let s analyze Useful vocabulary Let s check a few words that can be useful when giving or asking for directions. Listen carefully to the pronunciation and practice as much as you can. Remember, practice makes perfect! Notice their pronunciation You can use these expressions to ask where a place is. How do I get to the bank? Where is the bank? What s the best way to get to the bank?
