Saint Charles Parish San Diego / Imperial Beach Page Two From the Pastor SALVATION HAS COME TO THIS HOUSE Zacchaeus probably never expected that he would get Jesus attention climbing on the tree to see him but he did. He was so excited that Jesus not only noticed him but wanted to spend time with him. As a tax collector, Zacchaeus didn t have many friends. By Jesus wanting to spend time with Zacchaeus, Jesus is saying to him that he wants to be his friend. Jesus knows there is a void in the life of Zacchaeus because Zacchaeus has put as the center of his life money and not God. Spending time with Jesus transforms the life of Zacchaeus and his household (family) which is why Jesus proclaims that salvation has come into this house. May we aspire to let Jesus reign in our homes and in our hearts. Fr. Se lleno de tanta emoción que Jesús no solo lo noto sino que también quería pasar tiempo con el. Como cobrador de impuestos, Zaqueo no tenia muchos amigos. Al querer pasar tiempo con Zaqueo, Jesús le esta diciendo que quiere ser su amigo. Jesús sabe que hay un gran vacio en la vida de Zaqueo porque Zaqueo ha puesto como el centro de su vida al dinero y no a Dios. Pasando tiempo con Jesús transforma la vida de Zaqueo y el de su casa (familia) y por eso dice Jesús que la salvación ha llegado a esta casa.
