We remember God s faithful love for us, and call upon God to help us to turn back. For behold, you are angry, and we are sinful (Isaiah 64:4). In the first reading and in the psalm, we recall God s promises and lament our unfaithfulness and our guilt. We call upon God s might and power in order to save us. With Isaiah, we ask God to rend the heavens and come down, / with the mountains quaking before you (Isaiah 63:19). different plan: the Incarnation. Yes, God is faithful to us, because we are the work of God s hands. God is the potter, we are the clay. Please buy your tickets as soon as possible. Seats are limited. No tickets will be sold the day of the event. YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT NEWS: On Sundays, the Youth will be selling Raffle Tickets for a chance to win 1 of 10 gift baskets (Minimum $100 each). The tickets are $5 each and all monies will go toward Youth Ministry events, including Steubenville 2018 and Camp Emmaus Leadership Camp. Please support them in their efforts! Drawing will take place at the Christmas Dinner/Dance on December 9, No need to be present to win. The Young Adult Ministry is hosting "The Giving Tree." Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and give to our parish families in need by purchasing a toy for a child. Stop by the West Patio after Mass and sponsor a child. Monetary donations may be put in an envelope labeled "The Giving Tree" and dropped in the collection basket at Mass. YAM members will be on the West Patio Sundays through December 17 with the last drop off date of Wednesday, December 20 at the Catechetical Center. We are now accepting registration for Parishioners aged 18 and older (not attending high school) for the preparation of the Sacrament of Confirmation. This special adult faith formation class will start on January 17, 2018 (every Wednesday) until May 23, 2018, from 6:30 pm to 9:00pm at the Catechetical Ministry Center. Our parish really comes together to make our guests feel comfortable and welcome. Recordamos el amor fiel que Dios siente por nosotros y le pedimos que nos ayude a emprender el camino de regreso: estabas airado porque nosotros pecábamos (Isaías 64:4).
