Together they explore what it means to believe in Jesus as the Christ, the One who fulfilled the prophecies of the Jewish scriptures. Today s selections refer to our human weakness, yet they emphasize the forgiveness and peace that are available to those who put their faith in Jesus Christ the righteous one (1 John 2:2). In the Acts of the Apostles Peter invites everyone to repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away (Acts 3:19). The First Letter of John calls Jesus Christ expiation for our sins (1 John 2:2). Bond with fellow parishioners over a cup of coffee, delicious baked goods and other delicious foods. The Squires will host the Bake Sale, Sunday, April 22nd. Today is Saint Charles Caritas Day. Please see the nuns and volunteers outside the doors. 100% of your donations will be used to buy basic food and basic necessities for the charities that we are helping. This year Mater Dei Catholic High School is hosting its 41st Annual Crusader Golf Tournament at the Eastlake Country Golf Course on Sunday, April 29, The tournament supports the athletic programs at Mater Dei Catholic High School. Participation helps our students to receive the highest quality Catholic education possible. Money raised from the tournament contributes to offset the cost of running sports programs which enhance the overall education for many students at MDCHS. We ask you to support Mater Dei Catholic High School by joining us at our 41st Annual Crusader Golf Tournament or by making a tax-deductible donation to the raffle, silent auction or by becoming a sponsor. Juntas exploran qué significa creer que Jesús es el Cristo, aquél que cumplió las profecías de la Sagrada Escritura judía. Las selecciones de hoy aluden a nuestra debilidad humana; sin embargo, hacen hincapié en el perdón y la paz que son posibles para quienes tienen fe en Jesucristo, el Justo (1 Juan 2:2). En los Hechos de los Apóstoles, Pedro nos dice a todos arrepiéntanse y conviértanse, para que se borren sus pecados (Hechos 3:19). La primera carta del apóstol san Juan dice que Jesucristo es víctima de expiación por nuestros pecados (1 Juan 2:2). Su participación ayuda a los estudiantes a recibir educación católica de la más alta calidad posible. El dinero recaudado en el torneo contribuye a compensar el costo de ejecución de los programas deportivos que mejora la educación general para muchos estudiantes en MDCHS.
