Hi everybody, this is Aldo Garcia and I m the organizer of the 3dsymposium event, I m very happy to announce the guide lines for the contest 2015, as you remember the 1 st place would have the possibility to work in Arx Solutions Miami and the 2 nd place will get a V-Ray license, if you are interested even if you didn t participate in the event, please continue reading. The contest is mainly for attendees of the 3dsymposium 2015, but now the possibility to work on Arx Solutions Miami it s opened for all the public, so if you are interested, keep reading. 1.- Quién puede participar en el concurso? El concurso es principalmente para los asistentes del 3dsymposium 2015, sin embargo se ha abierto la posibilidad de trabajar en Arx Solutions al público en general, así que si estás interesado continúa leyendo So what is the advantage to participate in the 3dsymposium 2015? The attendees of the 3dsymposium 2015 have priority over the non-attendees, this means, first will be selected the best renders of the 3dsymposium 2015 attendees, but, if neither of the 3 first places selected for the jury have the necessary documents to get the visa or don t have the level expected for Arx Solutions, then Arx Solutions is able to select jobs from participants outside the event.

2 2.- Entonces cuál es la ventaja de quienes asistieron al 3dsymposium 2015? Los asistentes al 3dsymposium 2015 tienen prioridad absoluta sobre quienes no asistieron, es decir, primero se elegirán los mejores trabajos de los participantes que asistieron al 3dsymposium 2015 y sólo en caso de que ninguno de los 3 primeros lugares evaluados por el jurado cumpla con los requisitos para tramitar la visa de trabajo o con las habilidades esperadas por Arx Solutions, entonces se podrá elegir a alguno de los participantes ajenos al 3dsymposium. It is optional send more images, there is not limit for images, you can send all the renders of the house that you wish, just consider your time. 3. 5 Additional comments // Un par de comentarios adicionales -The contest start on December and the deadline is on January at 23:00 UTC / GMC -6. -You can use any software and technique, but, you should know that Arx Solutions generates 3d images mainly, using 3ds Max, V-Ray and Photoshop, this mean that is not common create matte paint images, this means that a good job of 3d modeling, framing, texturing, shaders, and lighting may have an important impact. -The contest it s individual, this mean.. not teams. -The winner should send the final files (3ds max, Photoshop, etc). -Remember, those whom not participate in the 3dsymposium 2015 event will be considered only if no one of the attendees have the skills or requirements to work on Arx Solutions, but this is a good opportunity to try. -El concurso inicia el día jueves 17 de diciembre del 2015 y la entrega de las imágenes será el lunes 25 de Enero del 2016 a las 23:00 UTC/GMT -6. -Puedes utilizar cualquier software y técnica sin embargo debes saber que en Arx Solutions las imágenes que se generan son en 3d, utilizando 3ds Max, V-Ray y Phothoshop, esto quiere decir que no es común realizar matte paint. Por lo tanto un buen trabajo en composición, modelado, texturizado, shaders, e iluminación pueden tener un peso importante. -El concurso es individual, es decir, no es válido hacer equipo. -El ganador deberá enviar los archivos originales de 3ds Max, PS, etc. -Recuerda que aquellos que no participaron en el 3dsymposium 2015 serán considerados únicamente en caso de que ninguno de los asistentes cumpla con las habilidades o requisitos para trabajar con Arx Solutions, sin embargo es una buena oportunidad para intentarlo.

6 The Jury // El Jurado The Jury is composed by all the speakers of the 3dsymposium 2015, they have experience in different areas of the Arch Viz industry; Since we have 10 judges and an draw is possible I ll be one of the jury *Please don t ask about the criteria for the jury for the selected jobs, we trust in the integrity and professionalism of each one. El jurado está compuesto por todos los expositores del 3dsymposium 2015, todos ellos tienen reconocimiento internacional en diferentes áreas del Arch Viz; Dado que hay 10 jurados y se puede generar un empate, yo estaré incluido en el jurado *Por favor evita preguntar el criterio del jurado para elegir un ganador ya que no se responderá a esta petición, se confía totalmente en la integridad y profesionalismo de cada uno de ellos.
