Los Pronombres Interrogativos son: PRONOMBRE - SIGNIFICADO WHAT? WHO? WHICH? WHOSE? WHOM? Qué? Quién? / Quiénes? Cuál? / Cuáles? De quién? / De quiénes? A quién? / A quiénes? Veamos algunos ejemplos: WHAT puede emplearse para preguntar acerca de personas u objetos: What did John say? Qué dijo John? What book is this? Qué libro es ese? What is your favourite sport?
Who designed the statue? Quién diseñó la estatua? Who is repairing the car? Quién está reparando el coche? WHICH también se emplea para referirse a personas u objetos: Which dress is more expensive? Cuál vestido es más costoso? Which is your best friend? Cuál es tu mejor amigo? Podemos utilizar WHOSE para interrogar acerca de personasexpresando posesión y pertenencia, precediendo a la palabra que hace referencia: Whose bag is this? De quién es este bolso? Whose house did you visit yesterday?
WHO: Whom have you lent money? A quién le has prestado dinero? Whom did you meet at the party? What did he complain about? De qué se quejó? Which train did you arrive by?
Who were at the party last night? Quiénes estaban en la fiesta anoche? Which are your friends? What kind of music do you like? Qué clase de música te gusta? Which songs do you like most? Cuáles canciones te gustan más? MÁS EJEMPLOS CON PRONOMBRES INTERROGATIVOS Who was the creator of our flag? Quién fue el creador de nuestra bandera? What did he say before leaving? Qué dijo antes de irse? Which South American country do you want to visit? Cuál país sudamericano quiere visitar? Whose house is this?
De quién es esta casa? Whose books have you finally bought? Los libros de quién has comprado finalmente? When is your birthday? Cuándo es tu cumpleaños? Where are you going tomorrow? Adónde vas mañana? How are you today? Cómo estás hoy? What's the time? ( Qué hora es?) Where are you? ( Dónde estas?) When's he available? ( Cuándo está disponsible?) How are the cookies? ( Cómo estan las galletas?) Why are they tired? ( Por qué estan cansados?) What do you like to eat? ( Qué te gusta comer?) Where does she work? ( Dónde trabaja?) When do they go on vacation? ( Cuándo van de vacaciones?) How do you use this machine? ( Cómo usas esta máquina?) Why do you study English? ( Por qué estudias inglés?) Who asks the teacher? Danny. ( Quién pregunta al profesor? Dani.) Who did Danny ask? The teacher. ( A quién preguntó Dani? Al profesor.) What happens? Something. ( Qué pasa? Algo.) What does Maria say? Hello. ( Qué dice Maria? Hola.) What are you thinking about? ( En qué piensas?)
