6 Exercise 3: Questions Food and drink in Spain Read the blog of lmudena Martín, a restaurant owner. De niña, ayudaba a mi madre a preparar platos tradicionales cuando venía a casa toda mi familia numerosa. Siempre me fascinaba el desarrollo de un plato apetitoso, desde los ingredientes frescos hasta el momento de triunfo cuando salía el plato del horno y llegaba a la mesa. Hoy en día, mi compañero y yo somos dueños de un monísimo pequeño restaurante en Santiago. Nos especializamos en comida de nuestra región, basada en las tradiciones del pasado. Tenemos clientes que viajan desde lejos para probar platos como empanadas con atún o bacalao. El negocio va teniendo cada vez más éxito y así hemos empleado a un camarero. Hace algunos meses vino a cenar un periodista famoso. Escribió una crítica halagadora de la comida y del ambiente del restaurante. Por consiguiente, ahora cenan en nuestra modesta empresa no solo miembros de la familia real sino también otra gente bien conocida, como políticos y estrellas de cine. Había decidido mudarse de casa desde olombia para vivir en una sociedad que tenía un índice reducido de crimen. arlos le costó decirle adiós a su tío más querido. Roberto (padre): Lo que me molesta de mi hija es que nunca suele comportarse de una manera adecuada. Desde hace un año cree que es aceptable trasnochar fuera. Una vez, se emborrachó y la policía la detuvo. Qué sinvergüenza! Hay que decir que la presión del grupo le influyó. Emilia (hija): Mi padre siempre me está diciendo que me visto de una manera que no conviene a una chica bien educada. Todo lo contrario! Mi papá no quiere que me divierta. Debería ocuparse de sus asuntos en vez de meterse en mi vida. Luisa (madre): Mi hija me preocupa pero no tanto como mi hijo. Él nunca puede desconectarse de su móvil, hasta cuando estamos pasando un rato con los familiares. La tecnología debería ser una herramienta útil, no una obsesión que te arruina la vida familiar. Julio (hijo): Mi madre me critica por pasar demasiado tiempo conectado. Es verdad que afecta mi progreso académico pero sé que podría parar si quisiera. Mi mamá piensa que estoy enganchado a las redes sociales. Lo que no sabe es que tengo la habilidad de ahorrar mucho por haber comprado y vendido en una página web de subastas.
