2 How to Customize: Save $$$ 8.5 x11 Flyers w/tear-offs CA edition, all offers, Spanish EDITING WITH ADOBE READER You can customize the editable fields in this file using Adobe Reader, a free application you can download from With Adobe Reader version 7 or higher, the customized file containing your store s information can be saved to your hard drive for future use. Be sure to use the latest free version that is compatible with your computer s operating system. CUSTOMIZING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Once you ve opened the editable PDF file in Adobe Reader 7 or later (or Adobe Acrobat) you should see a message in the header indicating that you can fill out a form and save the data (the sample screen shot below is from Adobe Reader 8 for Windows). 2. Complete the various store information fields under the Cash Plus logo in the main body of the flyer. 3. Enter the appropriate value in the $ limit field for the type of flyer your are using. Next, beginning with the top tear-off coupon on the right side, complete the address and telephone fields in the yellow-circled live areas (see below) and press the TAB key. The information you entered will automatically be entered into the other tear-off coupons below it. 4. When you have finished entering all the appropriate information, print out (see printing tips ) as many coupons as you intend to distribute. PAPER STOCK Print on good quality 20lb or 24lb bright white bond. PRINTING TIPS The file can be printed on most desktop printers. Color inkjet and laser printers will print in full color, standard laser printers will print in black and shades of gray. Below is a reduced size editable page with the default text (in the area(s) circled in yellow) that you should see when you open the file. NOTE: Clicking on the Highlight Fields button in Adobe Reader will indicate the text fields you can edit with a blue box. Set up your printer to print in landscape mode and use its highest quality setting and 100% image size (not reduce to fit ). If it has a maximum printable area and center image radio button or check box, select these. To prepare a sheet for posting at a location, first fold along the vertical dashed line to the left of the Cash Plus logos several times to make a crease that s easy to tear. Then, using scissors or a knife, cut along the seven horizontal dashed lines from the right edge of the paper to the crease.
