40 STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARDS All district high school students are required to wear their school issued photo ID card on a school issued lanyard. Lanyards must be worn around the neck and IDs must be visible on the front of the student. Repeat violators of the ID policy will be subject to discipline sanctions. Student IDs help to identify students on school grounds, allow students to check out materials from the LMC, serve as bus passes, are needed for food services, etc. Northglenn High School and other Adams 12 schools issue different color ID badges to students who have earned a variety of privileges. Students who are in violation of this ID policy are subject to consequences and discipline as per the NHS discipline matrix. Northglenn High School provides to every student, a school lanyard and ID free of charge at the beginning of the year. New IDs or lanyards should be purchased from the Attendance Office. Replacement costs: NHS Lanyard: $2, NHS ID: $3 Expectations IDs must be worn by all staff and students as they enter the building. IDs are to be worn on the NHS lanyard, around the neck, on the front of the body and fully visible. IDs are to be worn all day while on school grounds. Students must be in possession of only their own ID. IDs must remain in good condition and may not be altered. (new ID will need to be purchased) IDs must be in the student s possession during all evening school sponsored events. Todos los estudiantes de preparatoria del distrito son requeridos que lleven puesta su identificación con fotografía de la escuela en el cordón dado por la escuela. Los cordones deben de ser usados alrededor del cuello y la tarjeta de identificación debe de estar visible al frente del estudiante. Repetición de violaciones de la Política de Identificación serán sujetos a sanciones disciplinarias. La tarjeta de identificación del estudiante ayuda a identificar estudiantes en el área de la escuela, permite a los estudiantes que saquen materiales de la Biblioteca y Centro de Tecnología (LMC), sirve como un pace para el autobús, es necesaria para los servicios de comida, etc. Northglenn High School y otras escuelas de Adams 12 dan insignias de identificación de diferente color a estudiantes que han Ganado una variedad de privilegios. Los estudiantes que están en violación de la Política de Identificación están sujetos a consecuencias y disciplina como está indicado en las normas de disciplina de NHS. Northglenn High School proporciona a cada estudiante, un cordón y una Identificación sin cargo al principio del año. Identificación deberá de ser usada todo el tiempo mientras están en el área de la escuela. Los estudiantes deben de tener posesión de su identificación solamente. La Identificación deberá de permanecer en buenas condiciones y no debe de ser alterada (una nueva identificación tendrá que ser comprada).

Adams 12 Five Star Schools shall not assume responsibility for theft, loss or damage of any such device and will not be responsible for investigation of such incidents. The Northglenn High School Administration will not investigate any lost or stolen electronic devices.

El Distrito Escolar Adams 12 Five Star Schools, no asumirá responsabilidad porel robo, perdida o daño de cualquier dispositivo y no será responsable por la investigación de tales incidentes. La Administración de la Escuela S ecundaria Northglenn no investigará ningún robo o perdida de dispositivos electrónicos.

43 Raptor Security For the safety of Staff & Students, ALL guests and visitors of Northglenn High School are required to bring in a valid identification to be scanned. The Raptor Security System is operational in the Main Office and the Attendance Office. Please remind all guests to bring their ID. For safety reasons, students are NOT allowed to bring friends with them to school Student s on campus without permission will receive a trespassing ticket.
