13 Notification on Disconnections Currently there is no notification to customers. Once the prepay system is implemented (RPS), a message will be sent by cell phone to the end user notifying about low balances. Disconnections take place at 5:00 A.M.

14 Final Service Disconnection 98% of final disconnections are due to overdue payments. At the beginning of the project the arrears were 120 days. Nowadays, final disconnection is performed once arrears exceeds 30 days. 2% of disconnections are scheduled by customers specially on rental apartments with high incidence of move-ins, move-outs.

Faxea directa-mente a oficina de AMR recibo cancelado.. 3.a.El operador de AMR reconecta y efectua informe para cobrar reconexion 2.b Ose presenta a unidad de cobrancas y reconexiones con recibo cancelado 3.b Analista de de udas envia cuadro de reconexiones con copia de recibo pagado 4 Operador AMR verifica que por medio de herramienta de reconexiones se efetuen las reconexiones

19 Conclusions $28 M USD / month savings on non-technical losses. Remote connections / disconnections have provided ENEE with an additional income of $474, over an 18 month period without physical risk to our employees. Arrears have been reduced from 120 days to 30 days. Reduction of personnel (FTE) dedicated to do disconnections from 20 people spending three days, 8 hour shift to only one person for one day.
