7 PRIMER DOMINGO DE CUARESMA 7 18 DE FEBRERO DE 2018 Youth Group Ministry Life can be messy. We try as hard as possible to strive to live a great and adventurous life. But along the way we become restricted, held back by the constraints of the limitations given to us. Often times missing the simple joys in life as we focus on the thongs going wrong or what we re not doing. We tend to do the same thing with our faith. We don t act cause we feel it is not our place or that we are not worthy enough to do the work, we focus on following rules rather than the freedom they give us. This semester we are taking a step back and asking the simple question, who is Jesus? And who am I in Crist? Through this semester we will explore that our life can look like when we focus on the one who gave it all for us. We invite all high school student to join us on Tuesdays for youth group at 6:30pm-8:00pm in the gym, and all middle school students for youth group on Thursdays at 6:30-pm-8:00pm. Intentamos tan duro como sea posible esforzarnos por vivir una vida grandiosa y aventurera. Pero a lo largo del camino, nos restringimos, nos retenemos por las limitaciones de las limitaciones que se nos otorgan. Muchas veces nos olvidamos de las alegrías simples en la vida cuando nos enfocamos en las cosas que van mal o lo que no estamos haciendo. Tendemos a hacer lo mismo con nuestra fe. No actuamos cause creemos que no en nuestro lugar o que no somos lo suficientemente digno para hacer el trabajo. Nos enfocamos en seguir las reglas en lugar de la libertad que nos dan. Este semestre estamos dando un paso atrás y haciendo la simple pregunta. Quién es Jesus? Y quien soy yo en Cristo? A través de este semestre, exploraremos como se vera nuestra vida cuando nos centramos en el que dio todo por nosotros. Invitamos a todos los estudiantes de secundaria a unirse con nosotros los martes para el grupo de jóvenes a las 6:30pm-8:00pm en el gimnasio, y todos los estudiantes de escuela intermedia para grupos de jóvenes los jueves a las 6:30pm-8:00pm.
