Spanish Railways Technology Platform Industry-led tool at the service of the railways sector supported by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation PTFE s mission is to align the strategies of the various agents, concentrate R&D and innovation efforts, and to reduce the fragmentation in research fields. Spanish Railways Technology Platform It pursues the achievement of the scientific and technological advances required to ensure competitiveness, sustainability and growth in the Spanish railway sector, by supporting and promoting R&D studies and projects, both at national and international levels The PTFE has the objective at international level to: favor and strengthen the Spanish Railway Technology position at European level; raise FP7 Spanish participation rates; and follow the mandate of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
