QUE QUERIAMOS TENER?
ESCALAS DE PREPARACION ARONCHICK (2004): excelente, buena, media, mala e insuficiente). OPTIMA REVERSIBLE IRREVERSIBLE ADECUADA
SITUACION PREVIA ESTUDIOS ANTERIORES The timing of bowel preparation before colonoscopy determines the quality of cleansing, and is a significant factor contributing to the detection of flat lesions: A randomized study: Adolfo Parra- Blanco, David Nicolás-Pérez,Antonio Gimeno-García, Begoña Grosso, Alejandro Jiménez, Juan Ortega, Enrique Quintero: World J Gastroenterol 2006 October 14; 12(38): 6161-6166: Colono de 8.30 a 12.30h con 2ª dosis a las 6am vs día previo: repetición colono 2.2% vs 12.4%: detección lesiones planas 21.6% vs 9% : tolerancia similar (vómitos similares) y aceptación similar. Effective Results: bowel The cleansing mean residual before gastric colonoscopy: volume a in randomized patients receiving study of split-dosage split-dose bowel versus preparation non-split dosage (19.7 regimens ml) was higher of high-volume than in patients versus undergoing low-volume EGD polyethylene alone (14.6 ml) glycol but not solutions different (Marmo from et al., that Gastrointest in patients Endosc receiving 2010 bowel [37]): preparation split dosage the > dosis evening única before la víspera the procedure (score 20.4/24 (20.2 ml) vs. 16.4/24) Within con ciego the visto split-dose 98.8% preparation vs 89.3%. Detección group, there pólipos was mayor no association (24-27% adecuada between the vs 12 interval inadecuada) from last actual fluid ingestion and procedure start time and the residual gastric volume. The range of residual gastric volumes between study arms was similar. American College of Gastroenterology Issues Updated Colorectal Cancer Guidelines Colonoscopy Every Ten Years is Preferred Screening Strategy According to Experts Bethesda, MD (March 4, 2009) New Recommendations for Bowel Preparation Aim to Enhance Effectiveness and Improve Tolerability for Patients: To improve the quality of colonoscopy exams and the tolerability of bowel preparation, the College believes that the best established principle of bowel preparation is split dosing and the updated guidelines recommend that at least half of the preparation is given on the day of colonoscopy, rather than all of the preparation on the day before the examination. Additionally, a new recommendation from ACG is that patients be allowed to ingest clear liquids until 2 hours prior to sedation for colonoscopy consistent with practice guidelines of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (Anesthesiology 2011; 114:495 511).
