3 Activity description: National Information day and Focus group in Spain among partners and users on work package 5 and project results to inform key actors on quality, relevance and effectiveness of project results for their transfer to decisionmakers and for their adoption and application by end-users Date: Placement: Madrid, Spain Implementing partner: Koan Consulting Sl Target groups: The National Infoday was successfully held in the framework of the Cultural Tourism Forum organized by Spanish Association of Tourism Professionals (AEPT) with more than 50 participants from the tourist industry and cultural sector (Guides, museums, tourism local public institution of Madrid, tourism press, travel agents, tourism marketing sector, consultancy, etc). 4 The guides of Madrid were the sector more interested in the project. They consider important to recognize both the qualification of the Interpretive Guide and the Interpretive Host through the professional competences acquired during their work life. In general, we are aware that the project is difficult to understand by both the general public and the tourism sector due to the lack of knowledge about the educational issues such as ECVET, EQF, etc. Despite that fact, the sector was interested in the project and we made important contacts of relevant stakeholders to involve in the project. INTERPRETING OUR EUROPEAN HERITAGE es un ambicioso proyecto desarrollado junto a socios de varios países europeos y está orientado a perfeccionar el rol de la interpretación del patrimonio en el turismo cultural y de naturaleza, como una herramienta esencial para crear productos turísticos experienciales y sostenibles, mejorando las capacidades de guías, informadores y gestores patrimoniales. Nos complace celebrar este infoday en un marco muy adecuado que es el IV Foro "AEPT Mejor Juntos": Turismo Cultural Lo estamos haciendo bien? Organizado por la AEPT Asociación Española de Profesionales del Turismo (AEPT), Este es el Primer Foro de AEPT sobre Turismo Cultural, y su objetivo es establecer vías de comunicación que permitan el trabajo en equipo de todas las instituciones y empresas involucradas, hacia la mejora de la comercialización de los distintos destinos y productos turísticos culturales con los que cuenta España. Este Foro es sobre todo un espacio de debate en el que participarán como ponentes: Antonio Caballos, Presidente de Honor de AEMAV (Asociación Empresarial Madrileña de Agencias de Viajes) Antonio Gil, Presidente de la AEHM (Asociación Empresarial Hotelera de Madrid) Sofía Rodríguez Bernis, Directora del Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas Miguel Sanz Castedo, Director de Marketing y Partenariado de Madrid Destino, Cultura, Turismo y Negocio Fernando Valmaseda, Director de la Agencia de Comunicación RV Edipress Representante del Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza Modera: Yolanda Perdomo, Directora del Programa de Miembros afiliados de la OMT Por otra parte, este Primer Foro de Turismo Cultural busca también la complicidad de los medios de Comunicación a la hora de promover el destino.
