The CSI1* is open to all athletes taken part at the Americas Championship of the appropriate age, with a different horse than the one taken part in the Championships as well as to other athletes invited by the OC. The OC may accept athletes from additional NFs if more participants are needed. HORSES Transport expenses to be paid by the Athlete. For events in Europe, stabling is free of charge. Outside Europe, stabling to be paid by OC X or Athlete at per stable. The OC may charge a manure disposal fee of max. EUR 40.-/horse/event. 4. ADDITIONAL FEES All further fees (i.e electricity, etc.) must be listed hereunder with the details of the amounts to be charged. These must have received FEI Approval before being included in the published schedule. Only fees approved by the FEI and listed in the approved schedule can be charged by the OC. 5. WELCOME The time and date of arrival of athletes and horses and their means of transport must be given to the OC in order to assist them on arrival.

Telf.: (593) direccion@agrocalidad.gov.ec Que: El animal o los animales deberán estar identificados individualmente mediante reseña y fotos de cuerpo entero, frontal, lateral y posterior, y estarán amparados por un Certificado Zoosanitario Andino para Exportación, con una validez de diez (10) días, expedido por la Autoridad Oficial de Salud Animal del país exportador, en el que conste el cumplimiento de los siguientes requisitos: 1. Las enfermedades de Peste Equina, Encefalitis Japonesa, Muermo, Enfermedad de Borna y la Arteritis Viral Equina son exóticas y no han sido reportadas en el país exportador. 2. Las enfermedades del Virus del Oeste del Nilo y Durina no han sido reportados en el país exportador 3. El animal o los animales han permanecido en el país exportador. 4. En la finca o establecimiento de donde proceden el animal o los animales y en el área de un radio de 16 Km de la misma no ha habido ocurrencia de ENCEFALITIS EQUINA VENEZOLANA durante los 120 días previos al embarque. 5. Los équidos fueron examinados en el establecimiento de origen, por un Médico Veterinario del Servicio Oficial del país exportador y no se detectó la presencia de heridas con huevos o larvas de moscas. 6. El animal o los animales no presentaron ningún signo clínico de ANEMIA INFEC- CIOSA EQUINA el día del embarque ni durante las 48 horas anteriores. Tampoco se observó ningún caso en el lugar de permanencia de los animales en los 3 meses anteriores. 7. PRUEBAS DE DIAGNOSTICO: El animal o los animales fueron sometidos a la siguiente prueba de diagnóstico con resultado negativo: ANEMIA INFECCIOSA EQUINA: Inmunodifusión en Gel de Agar o ELISA. 8. El animal o los animales han permanecido en un establecimiento autorizado por la Autoridad Oficial de Salud Animal del País Miembro y sujetos a inspección oficial y no han estado sometidos a cuarentena por cualquier causa. 9. En los 15 días previos a la fecha de embarque han recibido tratamiento contra los PARASITOS INTERNOS Y EXTERNOS, utilizándose productos autorizados por el País Miembro exportador.

16 10. Los animales fueron protegidos contra los insectos vectores de enfermedades cuarentenables previo al embarque 11. Los équidos fueron inspeccionados en el punto de salida del país exportador por un médico veterinario del Servicio Sanitario Oficial y no presentaron signos clínicos de enfermedades transmisibles ni ectoparásitos 12. Han sido inspeccionados en el momento de su embarque en el punto de salida del País, por un Médico Veterinario Oficial de Salud Animal del País Miembro de origen, no mostrando signo alguno de ENFERMEDAD TRANSMISIBLE, NI PRESENCIA DE ECTOPARASITOS. 13. El vehículo o vehículos de transporte local e internacional y los contenedores fueron lavados y desinfectados previamente al embarque del animal o los animales, utilizando productos autorizados por el País Miembro exportador. DIRECCION SANIDAD ANIMAL Previo al ingreso de los caballos, la Federación Ecuatoriana de Deportes Ecuestre, deberá obtener ante AGROCALIDAD un permiso Zoo Sanitario de Importación y una Autorización Previa, por lo que es necesario que nos proporcionen la siguiente información: Listado de caballos con las siguientes características: Nombre Raza Color Sexo Edad Nombre del exportador que figurará en documentos de embarque, dirección y teléfono. 18 RETORNO DE LOS CABALLOS Una vez que hayan ingresado todas las delegaciones, daremos inicio al proceso de reexportación, para lo cual se emitirá una factura de reexportación, en base a la factura de ingreso. En caso de tener alguna instrucción especial referente a la emisión de la factura, favor hacer conocer a su debido tiempo. La guía aérea de retorno a cada país, deberá ser entregada al siguiente día que arriben los caballos a Guayaquil, esto se debe a que los procesos de aduana apara la exportación son complejos y se debe dar inicio de forma inmediata. Dar a conocer las personas de contacto de cada delegación con sus teléfonos y correo electrónicos para enviar la información respectiva. 3.- REQUERIMIENTOS SANITARIOS REEXPORTACIÓN Se elaborará un Certificado Zoo Sanitario de Exportación y se tendrá listo el día que concluya la competencia. 20 THE FEI CODE OF CONDUCT FOR THE WELFARE OF THE HORSE The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) expects all those involved in international equestrian sport to adhere to the FEI s Code of Conduct and to acknowledge and accept that at all times the welfare of the horse must be paramount and must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences. 1. At all stages during the preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all other demands. This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery and tack, and transportation. 2. Horses and Athletes must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete. This encompasses medication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and the misuse of aids. 3. Events must not prejudice horse welfare. This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces, weather conditions, stabling, site safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event. 4. Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention after they have competed and that they are treated humanely when their competition careers are over. This covers proper veterinary care, competition injuries, euthanasia and retirement. 5. The FEI urges all involved with the sport to attain the highest levels of education in their areas of expertise.
