1 El estacionamiento de enfrente se utiliza para dejar y recoger a los estudiantes. Nadie debe dejar su auto estacionado en el carril designado para dejar y recoger mientras que entran en el edificio con sus hijos. Usted puede estacionarse en un estacionamiento abierto. Usted puede sentirse comodo permitiendo que sus hijos entren en el edificio por su propia cuenta. Los profesores estan fuera y dentro del edificio para asegurar que su hijo llegara a su aula. Nuestro estacionamiento delantero se ha convertido en una cuestion de sequridad!! Cuando los coches se estacionan en el carril; otros vehiculos tienen que dar la vuelta para dejar a sus hijos y quedan fuera del carril de seguridad. Tan luego otros vehiculos necesitan salir del estacionamiento proceden a acelerar y pasar todos los demas vehiculos. Ahora tenemos nihos y adultos fuera del carril de seguridad caminando hacia en el trafico porque eso es lo mas cerca que pueden llegar a la puerta. La seguridad de los nino es nuestra mayor preocupacion!!!! Ayudenos a iniciar el dia de los nihos feliz y seguro con nunca dejar su coche y permitiendo que su hijo/a entre al edificio acompahados por sus compaheros y maestros. Que todos ensehemos a nuestros hijos ser seguros y felices en el campus de Walnut Hill. Gracias por su ayudar a proteger todos los nihos en Walnut Hill. Este mes esta dedicado a la creation de un ambiente sano y libre de drogas en America. La cinta roja simboliza un compromiso continuo para reducir la demanda de drogas ilicitas en nuestra comunidad. Cada afio celebramos decir "no a las drogas" mediante el reconocimiento de National Red Week "Semana Nacional de Rojo". Siempre llenamos la semana con temas divertidos y deliciosos aperitivos para nuestros estudiantes y personal. El tema de este afio es " Yo estoy sano y libre de drogas". 5 Red Ribbon Week At Walnut Hill Elementary October Greetings Walnut Hill Families, October is a month to acknowledge a drug free life. This month is devoted to creating a healthy and drug free America. The Red Ribbon symbolizes a continuing commitment to reduce the demand for illicit drugs in our community. Each year we celebrate saying no to drugs by recognizing the National Red Week. We always fill the week with fun themes and yummy treats for our students and staff. This year's theme is "A Healthy Me is Drug Free". Below you will find a list of each day's theme for the week of October Thank you for your continuous support for our school and children. Monday October 21 st -The school counselor will lead the children In a school wide pledge over the announcements, and the children will all sign a pledge to be drug free to show their pride for our school community. 6 TRAFFIC FROITT laekihft LOT! The front parking lot is used for drop-off and pick-up of students. No one is to leave their car parked in the lane while they go into the building with their child. You may park in an open parking spot. You may feel comfortable allowing your student to enter the building on their own. Teachers are posted outside and inside the building to assure your child will get to their classroom. Our front parking lot has become a safety issue!!! When cars are parked in the lane; other vehicles pull around and let their child off outside of the safety lane. Then other vehicles need to depart the parking lot and they proceed to speed-up and pass all other vehicles. Now we have children & adults outside the safety lane walking into the traffic because that is as close as they can get to the front door. Your child's safety is our most important concern!!! Help us start your child's day happy and safe by never leaving your car. Allowing your child to enter the building escorted by classmates and teachers. Learning starts the moment your child arrives on our school parking lot. Let us all teach our children how to be safe and happy on the Walnut Hill Campus.
