1 The Bible tells about a day that makes us very sad. (frown) But there is news about that day that also makes us glad. (smile) Jesus let enemies nail him to a cross to die. (form cross with arms) The enemies made fun of him, as they wandered by. (point out and laugh) Jesus suffered and died for us, though he had never sinned. (form cross with arms) He did this so that you and I could live in heaven with him. (point up) The sun stopped shining; the sky was dark, as Jesus died that day. (look up) He called out, It is finished! He had taken our sins away. (form cross with arms) Two friends took his body down and laid it in a grave. (pretend to lay down something) But Jesus wasn t dead for long, for he had come to save! (form cross with arms) Early Sunday morning, while most were still in bed, (rest head against hands as though sleeping) Some women came to Jesus grave; they thought that he was dead. (make fingers walk ) But Jesus grave was open; the stone was rolled away. (pretend to push stone) The women were amazed and did not know what to say! (press palms against cheeks) One woman, Mary, turned around and quickly ran away. (make fingers run ) She was not sure what happened on that first Easter day. (hold palms up questioningly) An angel told the others, Jesus lives! He is not dead! (cup hands around mouth) Your Savior lived and died and rose, just as he had said. (raise hands happily) Jesus Lives! Based on the gospel books Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John Parent: As you read the Bible story, do the actions with your child. Those women gladly shared this news with others right away. (walk in place excitedly) The day that Jesus came back to life was such a happy day! (smile) Jesus lived and died and rose to show us his great love. (press fists against chest) And someday he will take us to live in heaven above! (point up)

2 Color the Good News You need four crayons: red, black, yellow, and one other color (maybe your favorite!). Find the picture that shows where Jesus died to forgive all the wrong things we do. Color (or decorate) the outside of the egg red. Use black for the outside of the egg that shows where Jesus dead body was put. Use yellow for the egg that shows the good news that Jesus came back to life. Then use the last color for the egg that shows who will take you to heaven. Jesus lived, died, and rose to save me! Jesus died on a cross. Jesus was buried. Jesus came back to life!

3 Jesús Vive! Basada en los libros de Los Evangelios de Mateo, Marcos, Lucas, y Juan Padre: Cuando lea la historia bíblica, haga con su hijo las acciones indicadas. La Biblia nos cuenta los hechos de Jesús. Algunos nos dan tristeza. (Ceño fruncido) Algunos nos hacen sentir alegres. (Sonrisa) Un viernes, los enemigos de Jesús lo crucificaron para que muriera. (Hacer cruz con los brazos) Jesús nunca pecó, ni siquiera una sola vez, pero sufrió en la cruz para quitarnos nuestros pecados. (Hacer cruz con los brazos) Mucha gente se burló de él. (Señalar y reír) Mientras que Jesús estaba en la cruz, el sol dejó de alumbrar y el firmamento se oscureció. Finalmente Jesús gritó: Consumado es! Su obra para salvarnos se había completado. (Hacer cruz con los brazos) Dos amigos bajaron el cuerpo de la cruz y lo pusieron en una tumba. (Simular que baja algo) Pero Jesús no estuvo muerto por mucho tiempo! Temprano el domingo por la mañana, algunas mujeres vinieron a la tumba de Jesús. (Caminar sin avanzar) Ellas se preguntaban cómo removerían la piedra tan pesada que cerraba la tumba. Temprano en la mañana, Jesús había resucitado y había salido de la tumba! Después un ángel removió la piedra para mostrar que Jesús había resucitado. (Simular que empuja algo) Las mujeres estaban asombradas al ver que la tumba estaba abierta. Una de ellas, María, huyó rápidamente. (Correr sin avanzar) Un ángel les dijo a las otras mujeres que Jesús no estaba muerto. (Poner las manos alrededor de la boca) Jesús estaba vivo nuevamente, como él lo había dicho! (Levantar las manos con felicidad) Rápidamente esas mujeres fueron a contarles a los demás, esta buena noticia. (Caminar emocionadamente sin avanzar) Ellas estaban felices porque Jesús estaba vivo! Nosotros también estamos felices! Jesús vivió, murió, y resucitó, para salvarnos de nuestros pecados. (Presione las manos contra el pecho) Algún día él nos llevará a vivir con él en el cielo! (Señalar arriba) PASCUA para los niños

4 Colorear las Buenas Noticias Usted necesita cuatro crayolas de colores: rojo, negro, amarillo, y otro (puede escoger su color favorito). Encuentre la imagen que muestra que Jesús murió para perdonar todo el mal que hacemos nosotros. Coloree (o decore) la parte exterior del huevo rojo. Use negro para el exterior del huevo que muestra donde fue puesto el cuerpo muerto de Jesús. Use amarillo para el huevo que muestra las buenas noticias que Jesús volvió a vivir. Después use el último color para el huevo que muestra quién lo llevará a usted al cielo. Jesús vivió, murió, y resucitó, para salvarme! Jesús murió en una cruz. Jesús fue enterrado. Jesús volvió a vivir!
