3 Week of October 12, 2014 Este año, hemos decidido que esta página del boletín se compartirán algunas historia de esperanza y visión. Todos los escritores han pasado por el proceso de Liderazgo Parroquial y están escuchando la voz de Dios por medio de las experiencias de la vida diaria en nuestra parroquia y la comunidad de nuestro barrio. This year, for this page in the bulletin we have chosen to share stories of hope and vision. The writers have all passed through the parish Leadership process and are listening for the voice of God within the experiences of everyday life in our parish and neighborhood community. Santa Cruz-Inmaculado Corazón de Maria es una parroquia que siempre tiene diferentes eventos. Y este verano no fue la excepción con las Bodas en Grupo. Como iglesia siempre estamos buscando maneras de introducir la fe en nuestras vidas. Una parte muy importante de su preparación es la de asistir a las sesiones de Pre-Cana que consiste en compartir en grupo temas importantes en la vida del matrimonio. La segunda parte de este programa es el acompañamiento individual que se le ofrece a estas nuevas parejas en su preparación. Al principio las parejas se muestran un poco calladas, cohibidas y no les es fácil para ellos compartir sus experiencias. Pero poco a poco ellos están escuchando, y empiezan el dialogar. Todas las parejas son especiales, todas tienen algo bueno y experiencias para compartir no importa la edad ni los años que tengan de vivir juntos. Al final de estas sesiones todos terminamos como una gran familia, con nuevas experiencias, el deseo de cumplir con sus sueños, y con el entendimiento de ser Iglesia doméstica. Y con el buen deseo de regresar. Para el equipo de Matrimonios es un placer y una satisfacción muy grande tener la oportunidad de acompañar a estas parejas. Ver la felicidad de estas parejas cuando se están declarándose su consentimiento y la alegría de sus familias en un día tan especial es algo que nunca se nos olvidara. Estos nuevos esposos son nuestra esperanza, ejemplo, luz y fe para nuestra comunidad. Estos son algunos comentarios de las parejas que celebraron sus bodas en grupo este año: -Sr. Rogelio Rodríguez & Sra. Bertha Villacaña 40 años de casados con 3 hijos si esto me lo hubieran enseñado antes, la cosas hubieran sido distintas y las convivencias fueron muy bonitas y aprendimos mucho -Israel Escamilla & Clara López 10 años de casados con 3 hijos gracias por darnos la oportunidad de hablar y conocernos mejor y nos ayudó mucho la pareja que nos acompañó, Sr. Francisco & Juanita Reyes, gracias por su apoyo -Mariano Martínez & Angélica Tello 15 años de casados con 2 hijos finalmente pudimos hacer realidad nuestro sueño de casarnos por la Iglesia. Fue un día muy feliz. sentí mucha felicidad y paz y al principio yo no sabía porque teníamos que venir a estas sesiones. Pues, ya tenemos muchos años de casados. Pero ahora ya comprendí el porqué. Page Three Holy Cross-Immaculate Heart of Mary is a parish that always has different events going on. And this summer was no exception, with the Group Wedding. As church we are always looking for ways to introduce faith into our daily lives. A very important part of the preparation is attending the Pre- Cana sessions that consist of sharing in the group on important themes in marital life. The second part of this program is the individual accompaniment offered to the couples during their time of preparation. At the beginning, couples tend to be a bit quiet and reserved, and it is not easy for them to share their experiences. But little by little as they listen, they begin to dialogue with others. Every couple is special, each has something to share that is good and important, no matter their age nor the number of years they are together. At the end of the sessions we end as a big family, with new experiences, the desire to reach our dreams, and a new understanding of the domestic Church, as well as a desire to return. For the Marriage Team, it is a pleasure and a great satisfaction to have the opportunity to accompany these couples. We see the happiness of the couples when they exchange their vows, and the joy of their families on their special day is something that is not forgotten. These new couples are our hope, example, light, and faith for our community. These are some of the comments of the couples who celebrated their marriage in the Group Wedding this year: Rogelio and Bertha Rodríguez married 40 years, with 3 children if I had learned this earlier, things would have been differ ent and the get-together were wonderful and we learned a lot Israel and Clara Escamilla married 10 years, with three children thank you for giving us the opportunity to talk and know each other better and the couple who accompanied us, Francisco and Juanita Reyes, helped us so very much, thank you for your support. Mariano and Angelica Martinez married 15 years with 2 children Finally we could make our dream come true and marry in the Church. It was a very happy day. I felt much happiness and peace and at the beginning I didn t know why we had to attend the sessions, married so many years already. But now I understand why.
