4 22 DE ABRIL 2018 PAGINA 4 CUARTO DOMINGO DE PASCUA Kids Run the OC The Kids Run the OC Program is a week program that promotes an active and healthy lifestyle to kids to help prevent the onset of child obesity. During the weeks, the kids have practice before, during or after school, where they accumulate a total of 25.2 miles of exercise through FUN, play activities! 2nd Grade ol Garden takes care of our Scho Every week classes take time to weed the garden, plant new plants, water and observe the growth of the plants in the garden. This week the second graders spent a class period planting new plants and taking care of the weeds. Every year the monarch butterfly comes to our Saint Anne Garden to lay eggs that become caterpillars, larvae, and then beautiful monarch butterflies. FIESTA GALA On May 4th, our school community will gather for our Annual Gala. This year the theme is 'FIESTA' and again will be held at The Hacienda in Santa Ana. Tickets can be purchased in the school office for: $50.00 each Mrs. Patricia Gonzalez is the chairperson for the FIESTA GALA. She is working with Mrs. Marge Shillington, the School Board President, to find more silent and live auction items. It is most appropriate that Child Abuse Prevention Month is held during the Easter season as there is no better time than this when We experience renewal and growth that We celebrate the protection of our most valuable gift from God - our children.
