2 PÁGINA: 2 de 6 CONCEPTUALIZACIÓN IMPERATIVE FORM / COMMANDS 1. Se utiliza para dar ordenes, instrucciones o consejos, advertencia. 2. Para formar el imperativo en inglés se utiliza el verbo sin conjugar osea sin la particula to 3. Se puede utilizar la palabra please / por favor / en las oraciones imperativas afirmativas para que la orden, instrucción o consejo sea mas amable. 4. Para las oraciones negativas se utiliza Don t. Examples: Be a good boy! Sea un buen niño! Don t waste your time! No pierda el tiempo! Come with me! Venga conmigo! Don t put the light off! No apague la luz! Do your work! Haga su trabajo! Don t go to the river! No vaya al rio! Keep your word! Mantenga su palabra! Don t close the door! No cierre la puerta! NOTE: Let s Es contracción de Let us y sirve de introducción a algunas oraciones imperativas que incluyen el propio sujeto que habla el negativo es Let s not.
