Look for bulletin announcements in August for CCD registration for next year. Youth Group Meeting this week on Wednesday, May 11th at 7 pm in the Youth Room. Permission forms for service workday at Gasper River on May 21 st available on the glass chest in the atrium. We will leave at 10:30 am from the church and return by 4 pm. Thanks The youth group wishes to thank the parish for their support during our recent sale of religious jewelry. We profited close to $900. RCIA Anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith should contact John McAllister ( ). (RCIA) Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults classes will begin again in August. First Communion Reception and Pictures On Sunday, May 15 all First Communicants and their families are invited to a reception in St. Joseph s Parish Center. A photographer will be present to take group and individual pictures. First communicants are asked to dress in their same clothes worn for their first communion. Please arrive by 2 pm for pictures and the reception will follow. Bible Study May is the month of Mary; the next bible discussion will be focusing on Mary. The bible study will be held on May 18th at 7 pm in the church library. Please read the following prior to coming: Gen. 3:15-16, Jdt 13:18, Lk 1: 28 & 42, and Rev 12: 1-6, VBS Will be held from June 13 th to the 17 th from 9 am to 12 Noon. The cost will be $10 per child and $25 for 3 or more children. Registration is open to children who have COMPLETED one year of preschool through kids ENTERING the 6 th grade We invite any adults and youth volunteers who would like to participate to contact the church office. We will need someone to run the music ministry, the crafts, and we will need teachers and assistants. Registration will be held on the weekend of May 21 st and 22 nd after all the Masses. St. Vincent de Paul Conference Thanks Thanks goes out to the anonymous donor of our new upright freezer! We moved to a larger space within the same building. We would like to thank the community, especially Guillermina Garcia, Yocelin and Francisco Flores, Jesse Garcia, Gabino Mendez, Ray Wilt, Clint Wilt, and Robert and Ethan Purcell who helped during the move by cleaning and shampooing rugs and dusting and vacuuming! 3

On June 5 th, come out to Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp and take a tour of the facility. Then, go take in a ball game at Bowling Green Ballpark and watch the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Single A team for the Tampa Bay Rays). Half of all tickets that we sell will go to our Camper Scholarship Fund. Come see the camp and all that it has to offer then spend the afternoon at the ballpark to support a great cause. Tours at camp begin at 11:00 am Have a hot dog on us and hit the ballpark for first pitch at 2:05 pm Bowling Green Hot Rods vs. the Beloit Snappers (farm team for Minnesota Twins) Tickets are only $10 each (box seats) $5 from each ticket we sell will go to the Camper Scholarship Fund First 1,000 Fans receive a free Team Baseball Card Set & after the game kids run the bases!
