1 STEP UP 2 STEM CAMP Dear Parent or Guardian of in middle school, Your child has been nominated by his/her teacher to be considered to attend our July program titled: STEP UP 2 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). STEP UP 2 STEM is a projectbased science and math enrichment program featuring exciting informational research, technology and centers with hands-on science experiments on topics such as Build a Better Mousetrap Car, Robotics, Life on Mars, Sports, NASA and Forensics. Here is the specific information you will need to know as you are planning your family s summer activities: If selected, your child will be attending STEP UP 2 STEM at High School. (A bus will be provided to transport your child to this site) STEP UP 2 STEM dates: Wednesday, July 5 - Friday, July 28, 2017 Please see attached calendar for actual dates STEP UP 2 STEM times: 7:45 a.m. 1:15 p.m. Transportation: Information will be sent home in May. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost. (Please arrive by 7:30 a.m.) Return the Emergency Contact/Parent permission form attached immediately and you will receive an acceptance letter or waiting list letter. All students completing the STEP UP 2 STEM Summer Camp will receive an exciting assortment of books to add to their own home library.
