3 Happy Easter! Christ is truly risen! These are words that we repeat often in these days and will be the cause of our Easter joy and a strong inspiration for the growth of our faith, hope and charity. Let us rejoice with the joy of the whole Church! The entire universe rejoices in the victory of our Lord over sin and death. For Christ says through the prophet Hosea, "Shall I deliver them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from death? Where are your plagues, O death! Where is your sting (Hosea 13:14) Because Christ is risen we have a living God who gives us life: I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live" (John 11:25) On behalf of fathers Rolando and Alexis, Deacon Jesús, Nuns and Parish s staff, I would like to wish everyone a happy Easter. Despite the summer heat, remember we should not wear shorts, sleeveless or low cut shirts or blouses. Let us show how much reverence we have to our Lord and our neighbor. Modesty and respect above all. Avoid the ushers to call for your attention. Thank you very much for your collaboration. ALTER BOYS We are inviting children in our community to serve as altar boys. Those interested should speak with Father Julio or call the parish office to make an appointment with a priest. Soon we will start preparation classes for new altar servers. Alegrémonos con la alegría de toda la Iglesia! El universo entero exulta por la victoria de nuestro Señor sobre el pecado y sobre la muerte. Porque Cristo dice por boca del profeta Oseas: de la mano del sepulcro los redimiré, los libraré de la muerte. Oh muerte, yo seré tu muerte; y seré tu destrucción (Os. 13,14) Porque Cristo ha resucitado nosotros tenemos un Dios vivo que nos da vida: Yo soy la resurrección y la vida: el que cree en mí, aunque esté muerto, vivirá. A pesar del calor del verano, recordemos no debemos usar pantalones cortos, ni playeras o blusas sin mangas o escotadas. Mostremos cuánta reverencia tenemos a Nuestro Señor y a nuestro prójimo. El pudor y el respeto ante todo. Eviten que los acomodadores les llamen la atención. Muchas gracias por su colaboración. For NEW students: Sunday May 4, 11 and 18 after each Mass in the Hall, and Tuesday May 6, 13 and 20 from 4pm to 6pm at the Catechism Office. Requirements: For new students: original Birth Certificate and original Baptism Certificate. Cost: $80.00 for 1 child, $ for 2, or $ for 3 or more (siblings). Registration is limited. Registrations will end when the class rooms are filled. Try to register as soon as possible and prepare all the requirements now. There will be no exceptions. There will be no class for students of the Religious Education Program on Sunday April 27th.
