Saint is one who has gone to heaven, some have been canonized and are so proposed by the Church as examples of a Christian life. All Souls Day / Día de Los Fieles Difuntos Sunday, November 2, 2014 It is tradition to pray for the dead on this day. When a person dies and is judged worthy of heaven and yet sometimes they are still in need of purification because of their sins. Our prayers help them during this time. If you would like to offer up prayer for your departed loved one we have All Souls Day envelopes by the main entrance of the church. Write down their names and return them to office or the collection basket. They will be prayed for on All Souls Day during ALL Masses. Return by 10/31/14 to office.
