1 Rewa rding Your Spirit Choose the Medical Plan That s Right for You A Step-by-Step Guide to Using the HR WorkWays Web Site As a Cintas partner, you can enroll in and manage your benefits through the HR WorkWays Web site anytime, day or night, from any computer with Internet access by visiting The site offers easy-to-use tools and is your best and quickest way to access your benefits. Use this step-by-step guide to help you use this great resource. Going Online Is Easy Before you can gain access to your account (online or over the phone), you will need to register as a new user and enter some personal information, including your: n Partner/Employee ID, which you will receive in a separate mailing to your home address; and A n Password, which you will be prompted to create the first time you log on. You ll also be asked to choose a few security questions (for example, providing your father s middle name or the name of the street you grew up on). Note that you ll be asked these questions in the event that you ever forget your password. A Keep your Partner/Employee ID and password in a secure place, and don t share them with anyone. You ll need them each time you log on to HR WorkWays. Take Action! When you log on to HR WorkWays, you ll see an action alert that details what you need to do as a newly hired partner, including enrolling in: n Health and Insurance benefits, and B n Partners Plan 401(k). To enroll in your Health and Insurance benefits, click Enroll in your Health & Welfare Benefits. B Then click Begin Enrollment. C C HR WorkWays is a trademark of Hewitt Associates LLC.

2 D Begin Enrollment in Health and Insurance Benefits Once you have carefully reviewed your options and determined which options are best for you and your family, it s time to enroll. You ll need to have the names, birth dates, and Social Security numbers of any dependents whom you re enrolling for the first time or any beneficiaries you are designating. And you ll be asked to provide verification of eligibility for anyone you name as a dependent. The site will then guide you through a five-step enrollment process. D Note: When you enroll, you must check the boxes next to each dependent s name for each benefit plan if you want your dependents to be covered under Cintas benefits. E Be sure and use the tools that appear in the right column under Related Info on the enrollment page. They can help you determine how much life insurance you need and how much money to contribute to flexible spending accounts. Once you have completed your enrollment, be sure to click Complete at the bottom of the page. You will see the Completed Successfully page. Print this page for your records. E

3 Participate in the Partners Plan 401(k) Cintas automatically enrolls all partners in the Partners Plan 401(k) after three months of service. At that time, 3% of your eligible pay will be deducted on a before-tax basis from each paycheck and invested entirely in the LifePath Portfolio that is designed for someone your age. No action is required! If you want to change either your contribution or investment funds, select Change in the Action Needed box F and then Make Changes. G You may choose to increase the amount you are contributing and select among the different investment options that Cintas offers. F If you choose not to participate, select Change in the Action Needed box F and then Decline Enrollment. H If you want to opt out, you must go online no later than 4:00 Eastern time the day you are eligible to begin participating in the Partners Plan 401(k). You are eligible after three months of service. Manage Your Benefits Throughout the Year The HR WorkWays Web site is helpful year-round. To find detailed information about your benefits, select the Your Benefits tab and click Your Current Coverage or Retirement Savings. Manage Your Health Savings Account or Health Care Flexible Spending Account Choose the Other Benefits tab at the top of the page. Then click Your Spending Account and finally Manage Your Account. I You will be able to view your account balance(s) and access individual claim details. G H Review Your Account Balance and Change Your Contribution Rate Choose the Savings and Retirement tab at the top of the page. Then click Account Summary. You will see your current balance, rate of return, and contributions per pay period. You are also given the opportunity to view details or make changes. J I J

4 Choose or Change Your Beneficiaries Choose the Health and Insurance tab at the top of the page. Then click Beneficiaries. You can select your beneficiaries for the Partners Plan, Basic and Voluntary Life Insurance, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance. K This is important because your beneficiaries are the people who will receive your benefits in the event of your death. You will need to provide their addresses and Social Security numbers. K Finding Tools Cintas knows that managing your benefits can be confusing. The HR WorkWays/Your Benefits Web site is a great place to get help. To learn more about how to save and invest, as well as withdraw from your 401(k) plan, click Knowledge Center and then select Tools and Calculators under Savings and Retirement.
