It was organized by the Global Trade Leaders Club to bring companies from all over the world who work in the construction sector, to Madrid to receive this award. This trophy was created to distinguish and stimulate companies belonging to such important field of activity. El pasado 11 de mayo tuvo lugar en el Hotel Meliá Castilla de Madrid la entrega del Trofeo Internacional de la Construcción. Este trofeo se convoca para premiar a las empresas que trabajan en un sector tan estratégico para la economía de un país como la construcción. 3 International Construction Award MADRID (Spain) Partial view of the hall at the Madrid based Hotel Meliá Castilla where the Prize-giving ceremony took place. n May 11th, the award presentation of the International O Construction Award took place at the Madrid based Hotel Meliá Castilla. It was organized by the Global Trade Leaders Club to bring companies from all over the world who work in the construction sector, to Madrid to receive these awards. The Global Trade Leaders Club wished to recognise the vital importance of the construction for country s economy. This trophy was created to distinguish and stimulate companies belonging to such important fields of activity. It constitute a symbol at an international level and recognise the quality of the services provided. The Global Trade Leaders Club was the motor of these awards. The ceremony started with a work meeting held in the hotel conference room, during which the awarded companies and the Global Trade Leaders Club were introduced by their representatives, who highlighted both products and services offered by their companies. The Secretary General of the Club gave a brief introduction emphasizing on the reason behind its foundation: to facilitate business relations amongst businessmen from all over the world. He then handed over the award certificate to all attendants as a special distinction to the managing director of each company. All the awardees were then invited to a welcome cocktail, which was followed by a lunch celebration and which took place in an atmosphere of great cordiality. The lunch was presided over by the Secretary General of the Global Trade Leaders Club, who shared the head table with the following authorities and members of the Diplomatic Corps: Sr. D. 4 Presentattion of the awarded companies during the business meeting held on May 11th. Attendants enjoyed the lunch celebration offered with occasion of the presentation of the Trophies. The prize-giving ceremony was presided by the authorities. the Indian Embassy; Sra. Dª Ivana Ivancevic, 1st Counsellor of the Embassy of Serbia; Sr. D. Volodymyr Krasilchuk, 1st Counsellor for Economic Affaires of the Embassy of Ukraina; Sr. D. Nguyen Duc Thuong, First Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Vietnam; Sr. D. Tjibbe de Boer, Foreign Trade Technician of the Embassy of Brasil. After the lunch, the awards forewords were read, and the representatives of the awarded companies were called out to receive their trophies. More than thirty companies from different countries had proved their quality and hard work (factors on which both these distinctions were based) and were awarded with the International Construction Award. The Secretary General of the Club concluded the prize presentation with a few words of congratulation to all the awardees and encouraged them to continue their effort in favour of such important fields for the economy of their respective countries. 5 Trofeo Internacional de la Construcción El pasado 11 de mayo tuvo lugar en el Hotel Meliá Castilla de Madrid la entrega del Trofeo Internacional de la Construcción. Este trofeo se convoca para premiar a las empresas que trabajan en un sector tan estratégico para la economía de un país como la construcción. El Global Trade Leaders Club no podía dejar de reconocer la vital importancia de unas empresas que contribuyen en gran medida al desarrollo económico de sus respectivos países. Los trofeos han sido creados para prestigiar propagar y estimular a las empresas que pertenecen a este sector. Este premio se ha constituido ya en todo un símbolo internacional de reconocimiento de la calidad de los servicios de quienes se han hecho acreedores del mismo. El Global Trade Leaders Club ha creado este premio para ser otorgado anualmente a las empresas que destaquen dentro del sector de la construcción. Los actos programados con motivo de la presentación de los trofeos comenzaron el día 11 por la mañana con una reunión de trabajo en la que tuvo lugar la presentación de las empresas galardonadas a cargo de sus representantes que destacaron brevemente sus actividades más importantes. El Secretario General, hizo una breve introducción del Global Trade Leaders Club, resaltando que el objetivo principal con el que este ha sido creado es el de facilitar las relaciones comerciales entre empresarios de todo el mundo. Concluido su discurso, entregó el certificado que acredita esta distinción a las firmas premiadas. Concluida la presentación de empresas y la entrega de diplomas, todos los galardonados estaban convocados a un cóctel de bienvenida que transcurrió en un ambiente relajado y cordial y dio paso al almuerzo que estuvo presidido por el Secretario General del Club y los miembros del cuerpo diplomático de los países de las empresas premiadas. Entre ellos se encontraban: Sr. D. Massäer Diallo, Ministro Consejero de la Embajada de Senegal; Sr. D. Chander Parkash Gandhi, 1er Secretario de la Embajada de la India; Sra. Dª Ivana Ivancevic, 1er Consejero de la embajada de Serbia; Sr. D. Volodymyr Krasilchuk, Consejero para Asuntos Económicos de la Embajada de Ucrania; Sr. D. Nguyen Duc Thuong, 1er Consejero de la Embajada de Vietnam; Sr. D. Tjibbe de Boer, Tecnico de Comercio Exterior de la Embajada de Brasil. Finalizado el almuerzo, se procedió a la lectura del pregón y a la entrega del Trofeo Internacional de la Construcción a más de veinte empresas de distintos países que se habían hecho merecedoras del mismo. El Secretario General del Club cerró el acto con un breve discurso de felicitación a las empresas premiadas y agradeció a las autoridades y miembros del cuerpo diplomático su presencia y colaboración en el acto de presentación de los trofeos.
