2 MEDICAID EXPANSION 2014 What is Medicaid Expansion? On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, creating changes that will improve how people can receive affordable health care coverage. The law allows all Americans to choose a health insurance plan that works the best for them while making sure there is medical care for the people most in need. So because of this Washington State, beginning January 1st of 2014, Medicaid (Medical Coupons) will cover a new adult eligibility group. Would I qualify?
