Ejemplo 1: (simple) A) Hello, my name is Ernesto, I have an interview with Mr. Robinson B) Ok, just a second! Just a moment! Ejemplo 2: (avanzado) A) Hello my name is Ernesto; may I speak to Mr. Robinson please? B) Yes, what is about? C) I have an interview for the waiter position. D) Ok, hold on a second, I will call him! 2. Can you say that again, please? Excuse me, I didn t understand. Ejemplo 1: Silvia: Hello my name is Silvia. Robinson: Hello Silvia, my name is Robinson, I am the manager. I m looking for waitress for the restaurant for work in the mornings. When did you arrive to London?
2 Silvia: I arrive a few months ago, I ve been studying English. Robinson: How long are you planning stay in London? Silvia: well, I don t know yet, depending on the situation, if everything is fine I would like to stay for one year or two maybe Robinson: where did you work before? Silvia: I have been working as waitress in two restaurants and also in a coffee shop. Robinson: how long did you work at the restaurant? Silvia: I worked there for two years and I during one summer in the coffee shop. Robinson: what were your responsibilities while working at the restaurant? Silvia: I did tables services, taking orders, making coffee and drink, cleaning.. 3. Ejemplo 1 Robinson: ok, Maria, I would like you to come on training for one day and see how your work. Would that be all right for you? Silvia: yeah! Sure no problem, when will you need me to start? Robinson: I would like you to come tomorrow. Silvia: no problem, at what time shall I start? Robinson: Come tomorrow 10 to 15 pm, and then you will be working Monday to Friday from 8 to 15 pm. And your rate will be 5.00 per hour. Silvia: ok, Mr. Robinson, thank you very much, see you tomorrow. Robinson: thanks Silvia see you tomorrow.
3 Ejemplo 2 Robinson: ok, Silvia, thank you very much for coming, I will phone you next week and I will tell you when to start. Silvia: ok, I would like to start as soon as possible, so give me a call and I will come to work. Robinson: ok, thank you very much. My name is...and I am from Spain. I am calling you with regard to a vacant post... May I speak to Mr Smith please?/i have been told to contact Mr Smith regarding an interview for the post of... Dar a conocer la razón de vuestra presentación: I have been told to contact Mr Smith regarding an interview for the waiter position...
