We hear stories from our brothers and sisters in need worldwide, and devote our Lenten prayers, fasting and gifts to change the lives of the poor. Pro Labore Dei s main goal is to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, help the sick, etc. and to bring God s love and kindness to the least of our brothers and sisters in Christ. 5 CATHEDRAL OF THE HOLY CROSS EASTER FLOWERS Memorial donations are now being accepted for the flowers that will grace the Cathedral sanctuary during the Easter Season. As Easter is the time when the death and resurrection of Christ is celebrated, it is most appropriate to remember our departed loved ones who now live with the Risen Christ. Please clearly print the name of the deceased on an envelope marked EASTER FLOW- ERS and drop it off at the parish office. If the donation is received no later than April 7, 2017, the name of the deceased will be included in our Easter program booklet (Printer's deadline). Please print the name CLEARLY What is Eucharistic Adoration? Catholics believe that the Eucharist is the real presence of Jesus Christ. Eucharistic Adoration is the worship, praise, and adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance, and people come to pray and worship. Christ loves us without limit, and offers Himself to us in the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist. Eucharist adoration is a way for us to give Jesus love and worship in return. In its fullest essence Eucharistic Adoration is God and man reaching out for each other at the same time!
