1 Confederación Panamericana de Tiro con Arco INFORMACION 45/2014 DE WAA WAA INFORMATION 45/2014 (9 de julio de 2014 / July 9, 2014) Asunto: Conferencia de Jueces de World Archery Americas Subject: WAA Judges Conference World Archery Americas y la Federación Argentina de Tiro con Arco se complacen en invitar a todos los Jueces Internacionales, Continentales y Nacionales de América a participar en la Conferencia de Actualización para Jueces del Continente, a celebrarse en el Hotel Pullman, Rosario, Argentina el 19 de octubre de El seminario se celebrará con el siguiente programa: 19 de octubre 09:00 13:00 Primera Sesión 14:30 19:00 Segunda Sesión El seminario incluirá, entre otros, los siguientes temas: Actualización en reglas, by-laws e interpretaciones de los Comités de World Archery Procedimientos para los eventos de finales Cómo actuar en situaciones de estrés Sistema de clasificación para arqueros con discapacidades Estudio de casos Análisis de resultados de exámenes de re-acreditación Como ponentes en la conferencia participarán Sergio Font (Miembro del Comité de Jueces de World Archery), Vladimir Domínguez (Juez

2 Internacional), Robert Murray (Clasificador Internacional de World Archery) y Lena Fazzolari (Candidata a Juez Internacional). Los costos de hospedaje son los mismos que se incluyen en la invitación del Campeonato Panamericano, con las siguientes modificaciones a partir del apoyo económico de la Federación Argentina de Tiro con Arco y de World Archery Americas. Jueces que asistan a la Conferencia y que se hospeden en el hotel Pullman: FATARCO cubre un valor de USD por noche por persona en el hotel para el 18 y el 19 de octubre. World Archery Americas cubre el valor de USD por la cena del día 18, y de USD por almuerzo y cena del día 19. O sea, que los participantes en la Conferencia tienen un descuento de USD el día 18, y USD el día 19. Se les sugiere tomar en consideración estos descuentos al momento de hacer la transferencia de banco al Comité Organizador, pues no habrá rembolso en efectivo para aquellos que lo hayan pagado y lo reclamen a su llegada. Les recuerdo que el derecho a estos descuentos lo da la participación en la Conferencia. Los jueces designados para trabajar en el Campeonato Panamericano podrán llegar a Rosario desde el día 18 de octubre, y tendrán su hospedaje y alimentación cubiertos en el Hotel Pullman desde ese día hasta la noche del día 25 de octubre. De ahí que no tendrán costo adicional por su participación en la Conferencia. Jueces que asistan a la Conferencia y que se hospeden en el hotel Holiday Inn Express: FATARCO cubre un valor de USD por persona en el hotel por las noches del 18 y el 19 de octubre. Como el precio de este hotel incluye solamente desayuno, el precio por persona participante en la conferencia en habitación doble para estas dos noches queda en USD. La tarifa para el resto de las noches se mantiene en USD como aparece en la invitación, en caso de que algún juez desee quedarse al resto del Campeonato. Los costos de cena del día 18, y de almuerzo y cena para estas personas el día 19 serán cubiertos por WAA. Estos

3 alimentos serán ofrecidos en el Hotel Pullman, y el Comité Organizador brindará facilidades de transporte para el traslado de un hotel a otro para la Conferencia el día 19, y la cena del día 18. También se les recuerda que el derecho a estos beneficios económicos lo da la participación en la Conferencia. Las reservas de hoteles se deben hacer directamente con el Comité Organizador, de acuerdo a las siguientes tarifas básicas (los descuentos descritos arriba se aplicarán según corresponda) PULLMAN HOTEL- ROSARIO ( ) Habitación Triple: U$$ 85 la noche, con pensión completa (3 comidas) e impuestos incluidos. Las personas que lleguen al aeropuerto de Buenos Aires (EZE) deberán cubrir sus gastos de transporte por carretera hasta Rosario (los buses llegan a cada uno de los dos hoteles) con un costo redondo (ida y vuelta) de USD. Los que arriben al aeropuerto de Rosario, deberán cubrir un costo redondo de USD por traslado del aeropuerto hacia el hotel y viceversa. En el momento de la reserva de hotel, los participantes deben indicar datos de llegada (incluido el aeropuerto) y solicitar al Comité Organizador la reserva del transporte del aeropuerto a los hoteles. 5 World Archery Americas and the Archery Federation of Argentina are pleased to invite all International, Continental and National Judges in the Americas to take part in the Judges Update Conference to be held at the Pullman Hotel, in Rosario, Argentina, on October 19, The seminar will be run with the following schedule: October 19 09:00 13:00 First Session 14:30 19:00 Second Session The following topics will be dealt with: Update on Rules, By-laws and WA Committee Interpretations. Procedures for Finals matches Performing under stress Classification system for disabled archers Case studies Analysis of re-accreditation test results Seminar speakers will include Sergio Font (World Archery Judge Committee Member), Vladimir Domínguez (lnternational Judge), Robert Murray (World Archery International Classifier) and Lena Fazzolari (International Judge Candidate). The costs of accommodation are the same as those for the Pan American Championships, with the following modifications resulting from the financial support of the Archery Federation of Argentina (FATARCO) and World Archery Americas. Judges attending the Conference and staying and the Pullman Hotel: FATARCO will cover for each night on October 18 and 19. World Archery Americas will contribute USD for dinner on the 18th and USD for lunch and dinner on the 19th. In other words, Conference participants will have a USD discount on 18th and USD off on the 19th. Please take these discounts into account when making your

6 bank transfers. No cash reimbursement will be made on-site. Be aware that these discounts will apply only if the judge actually participates in the Conference. Judges appointed to officiate at the Pan American Championships are expected to arrive in Rosario on the 18th, and will have their accommodation and meals covered by the organizers from that day till the night of Oct. 25 (departures on the 26 th ). There will not be any additional costs on account of Conference participation. Judges attending the Conference and staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel: FATARCO will cover USD for each of the nights of October 18th and 19 th. As this hotel s rate includes breakfast only, the final cost per person (in double occupancy) for each of these two nights will come down to USD. The rate for the rest of the nights will remain at USD as shown in the teams invitation, for those judges who would like to stay for the Championships. Dinner on the 18th, and lunch and dinner on the 19th will be covered by WAA. These meals will be served at the Pullman Hotel. The Organizing Committee will provide transportation for inter-hotel transfers for the Conference on the 19th, and for dinner on the 18th. Hotel bookings should be made directly with the Organizing Committee in accordance with the basic rates (the above-mentioned discounts will apply accordingly).
