1 Field Day at Reunion Ranch Information Packet FIELD DAY REUNION RANCH Dear Parents, Thursday, April 5th, is our field day at Reunion Ranch. The day will be filled with fun activities as the scholars rotate through stations throughout the property. All students need to come to school for attendance check. The students and teachers will be riding buses to Reunion Ranch. The teachers will need parents to carry their ice chests with lunches in their car and put them on the picnic tables at Reunion Ranch. We will also need parents to help provide snacks for your child s class. Coach Johnson and Coach Drummond will meet volunteers at Reunion Ranch at 9:00 a.m. Please allow thirty minutes for travel time out there. If you wish to attend as a spectator, you will pay $10.00 cash at the gate of Reunion Ranch. Please do not send your gate entry money to Mitchell.. Volunteers will sign in at the gate of Reunion Ranch. To be considered a volunteer, you must work a station. Walking with a class is not considered a volunteer. Please make sure as a volunteer or visitor that you have completed your background check online by going to the Mitchell or GISD website. Thanks! CHECKLIST OF WHAT TO BRING FOR FIELD DAY: Sack Lunch -These will be kept in the homeroom ice chest. Label your child s lunch. Clothing -Students will wear their shirt, comfortable shorts & tennis shoes. Swimsuits may be worn under clothing. Extra Cap or hat and sunscreen for protection. DIRECTIONS TO REUNION RANCH from Williams Dr. go past Sun City until you reach FM 3405, Drive 7 miles to CR255. Turn right & go 1 mile to the front gate. FOR INTERESTED VOLUNTEERS: * Background checks must be completed one week prior to event. * You will be assigned a station for the entire day * The first 30 to return the volunteer form will be accepted as volunteers * Admission is free for Volunteers * Please make arrangement for small children, as this event is for Mitchell Students only.

3 First 30 forms returned will be the volunteers DIA DE CAMPO RANCHO REUNIÓN Estimados padres, Jueves, 5 de abril será nuestro día de campo en el Rancho Reunión. El día estará lleno de actividades divertidas para que los estudiantes giren a través de estaciones en toda la propiedad.
