Muchos jóvenes como yo, menores de edad, de países africanos, intentan emigrar a España. La travesía en patera por mar es dura y peligrosa. Vine de Malí a España hace un año y seis meses con mi hermano. Crucé el mar en una patera cargada de gente, aunque mi familia no nos habría dado permiso porque no sabían si nos veríamos otra vez. Por eso nos fuimos sin despedirnos de mis padres. El viaje duró cuatro días sin comida o bebida y con el miedo permanente a morirme en el mar. El hecho de que había tanta gente en la patera me hacía pensar que podíamos tener un accidente en cualquier momento y por eso fue un alivio grande cuando vi la costa de España. Ahora vivo en un hogar para inmigrantes jóvenes junto con otras chicas de diferentes países con historias similares. Me gustaría ser abogada porque siempre he querido ayudar a otros. Aquí en España, todos los inmigrantes ilegales tenemos el apoyo del gobierno español hasta que cumplamos 18 años. Estoy muy preocupada porque ya tengo 17 años. Qué pasará después? READER 3 Mohammed, 17 años, de Marruecos FIRST PASSAGE SECTION 2 Soy Mohammed. Tengo 17 años y vivo aquí desde hace un año y medio. Cuando emigré a España, quería conocer otra gente, una cultura nueva y por supuesto el paro en mi país era también una razón para salir. Marché con muchos otros chicos de casa sin decir nada a mis padres y pasé cuatro días sin comida ni agua en la patera. No quiero volver a mi país aunque echo de menos a mi familia. En España tengo la oportunidad de vivir en un piso y prepararme para ser independiente y adaptarme al nuevo país. Ahora me siento cómodo pero los primeros días fueron muy difíciles porque no entendía nada. Voy al instituto y para el verano tendré trabajo. Mis sueños de una vida mejor se han hecho realidad. Antes de ir a la universidad decidí ayudar en una escuela en una región pobre de Perú. Fui con la idea de enseñar y explorar nuevas cosas en un nuevo país. No tenía ni idea de lo que era vivir en un sitio tan lejano. No me importa confesar que estuve nerviosa al principio del viaje, pero una vez allí, fue una gran sorpresa descubrir el gran cariño de los niños, atentos y muy graciosos. Disfruté mucho las actividades que se organizaban cada semana, y las clases de español con las que ayudaba. Durante el recreo me encontré corriendo y gritando con los niños en muchos juegos y deportes. También conocí a muchas de las familias de los niños y la realidad bastante triste de su manera de vivir. SECOND PASSAGE SECTION 2 READER 4 Durante los fines de semana, hice muchas excursiones a pueblos campesinos y caminé por muchas montañas impresionantes y paisajes mágicos. Os recomiendo realmente este trabajo. Hay una gran falta de recursos, pero los maestros tienen energía y un gran corazón para hacer lo que están haciendo, en un lugar difícil y muy pobre, en un rincón perdido de los Andes. Volví a España con una experiencia enorme, cargada de besos, abrazos y momentos inolvidables. Vale la pena intentarlo, no os arrepentiréis. ENGINEER PAUSE FOR 10 SECONDS

Buenos días María. Dígame, por qué cree Usted que la película Spectre beneficiará a la Ciudad de México? READER 2 Uno de los factores más importantes que afecta la decisión del turista de qué lugar visitar, es la imagen del destino. El cine tiene grandes audencias y esta película ha tenido mucho éxito batiendo record de taquilla. Puedo dar un ejemplo muy conocido en la industria turística. Después de El Señor de los Anillos, una serie de películas basadas en los libros de Tolkien, las búsquedas de hoteles en Nueva Zelanda aumentaron un 92%. Espero que las sagas del espía James Bond tengan un resultado similar aquí. READER 3 Cuántos turistas vienen a la ciudad cada año? READER 2 Recibimos 11 millones de visitantes pero solo 2 millones son turistas internacionales. Esto se puede mejorar todavía. Es sorprendente que haya millones de espectadores que quieren recorrer los escenarios por los que pasean sus heroes, aunque estos sean de ficción. THIRD PASSAGE SECTION 2 READER 3 Se presenta una imagen positiva de la Ciudad de México en la película? READER 2 Creo que sí. Es muy creíble. La película se rodó en las calles del centro histórico. Este corazón de la capital se transformó durante dos semanas en un desfile de Día de los Muertos con más de extras representando esta fiesta importante. Es la secuencia que abre la película y me parece espectacular. La ciudad se ve increíble y hermosa. Los espectadores se sienten justo en medio de un ambiente muy auténtico. Es un gran anuncio, una oportunidad para mostrar al mundo la riqueza cultural de nuestro país. READER 3 Vio Usted el desfile? READER 2 Sí. No quise perderme esta oportunidad. Convirtieron las calles en un sitio muy atractivo y los muchos visitantes gozaron de los sabores, aromas y colores de una tradicional festividad mexicana. Con disfraces de todos colores, 10 esqueletos gigantes y flores de papel que rodearon el centro histórico, fue muy emocionante. El Día de los Muertos siempre está acompañado de mucho entusiasmo y alegría tanto en las calles como en las casas y lo cierto es que el Director de la película logró crear todo esto. Mirara donde mirara, había colores, detalles y vida. ENGINEER PAUSE FOR 10 SECONDS
