1 SENTENCES TO PRACTICE 1. Había despertado cuando oyó un ruido enorme. Un terrorista había explotado un coche y había gente sangrando y herida 2. Mi hermano sopló las velas en su cumpleaños y todo el mundo estaba feliz; mis padres le habían estado preparando una fiesta de cumpleaños y todo el mundo le compró regalos. 3. He estado viniendo a este pueblo durante 20 años. No soy de aquí pero conozco a todo el mundo y todo el mundo me saluda. 4. Estábamos dibujando un cuadro cuando encontré una moneda antigua. Se la di a mi padre y fuimos a un experto para aprender sobre ella 5. Qué haces Pedro? Veo la tele. Podrías ayudarme con estas frases? No presté atención y ahora no sé como las puedo hacer. 6. Cuando montaba a caballo un conejo salió de un agujero y mi caballo se asustó. El caballo se paró y yo me caí. 7. El agua ha estropeado el reloj. Te dije que no podías nadar con ese reloj. 8. Habías jurado que vendrías conmigo al cine, ahora no puedes decirme que no vendrás.

My brother blew the candles in his birthday / birthday candles and everybody was happy. My parents had been preparing a birthday party and everybody bought him presents 3. He estado viniendo a este pueblo durante 20 años. No soy de aquí pero conozco a todo el mundo y todo el mundo me saluda. I have been coming to this village for 20 years. I m not from here but I know everybody and everybody greets me / tells me hello 4. Estábamos dibujando un cuadro cuando encontré una moneda antigua. Se la di a mi padre y fuimos a un experto para aprender sobre ella We were drawing a painting when I found an old coin. I gave it to my father and we went to an expert to learn about it 5. When I was riding a horse, a rabbit got out / went out from a hole and my horse got frightened. The horse stopped and I fell down. 7. El agua ha estropeado el reloj. Te dije que no podías nadar con ese reloj. The water has spoilt the watch. I told you that you couldn t swim with that watch 8. Habías jurado que vendrías conmigo al cine, ahora no puedes decirme que no vendrás.
