The evangelizing mission is the essential thing in the church, it is our reason and existence in the world. Jesus has always imagined his disciples in continual movement, not static, enclosed in themselves, but sent by the authoritative, but this authority is not to dominate human beings, authority is about the demons that enslave human beings, so Both the mission of the disciple must be liberating. "No bread, no saddlebag, no money" with this Jesus reminds us that the success of the mission does not depend on power or technology, this can be a means, its to say our trust can not be in the resources, but in the spirit of Jesus, in his own word which is the one who has the strength to heal and liberate. 4 Page 4 July 15, 2018 We recognize that the Sacraments have a visible and invisible reality, a reality open to all the human senses but grasped in its God-given depths with the eyes of faith. When parents hug their children, for example, the visible reality we see is the hug. The invisible reality the hug conveys is love. We cannot "see" the love the hug expresses, though sometimes we can see its nurturing effect in the child. The visible reality we see in the Sacraments is their outward expression, the form they take, and the way in which they are administered and received. The invisible reality we cannot "see" is God's grace, his gracious initiative in redeeming us through the death and Resurrection of his Son. His initiative is called grace because it is the free and loving gift by which he offers people a share in his life, and shows us his favor and will for our salvation. Our response to the grace of God's initiative is itself a grace or gift from God by which we can imitate Christ in our daily lives. The saving words and deeds of Jesus Christ are the foundation of what he would communicate in the Sacraments through the ministers of the Church. Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Church recognizes the existence of Seven Sacraments instituted by the Lord. They are the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist), the Sacraments of Healing (Penance and the Anointing of the Sick), and the Sacraments at the Service of Communion (Marriage and Holy Orders). Through the Sacraments, God shares his holiness with us so that we, in turn, can make the world holier. Reconoce- mos que los sacramentos tienen una realidad visible e invisible, una realidad abierta a todos los sentidos humanos pero captada en las profundidades que Dios les ha dado con los ojos de la fe. Las palabras y obras de salvación de Jesucristo son el fundamento de lo que él comunica en los sacramentos a través de los ministros de la Iglesia. Guiada por el Espíritu Santo, la Iglesia reconoce la existencia de los siete sacramentos instituidos por el Señor. Son los Sacramentos de Iniciación (Bautismo, Confirmación, Eucaristía), los Sacramentos de Sanación (Penitencia y la Unción de los Enfermos), y los Sacramentos al servicio de la Comunión (Matrimonio y Ordenes Sagradas). A través de los sacramentos, Dios comparte su santidad con nosotros para que nosotros, a su vez, podamos hacer que el mundo sea más santo.

Home bound minister meeting Any current Ministers to the home bound and anyone who is interested in joining this greatly rewarding Ministry of bringing Holy Communion to those who are sick or home bound are invited to attend this meeting. We will meet on Monday July 30th. at 7:00 p.m. in the Church. How great it is to carry Our Lord to those who wish to attend Mass but are unable to do so! Please consider attending, this is a very important ministry of our Church that we may all someday call upon and be great full it is here.
