Next school year we are looking at participating at the Heritage Music Festival on May 26-30, 2016, at Anaheim, CA. This trip will help expose students of the honor band program to a national band competition opportunity. This could also help students résumés with their college and scholarship applications in the near future. The trip will not be graded and therefore, it is not mandatory. The band trip is completely on a voluntary basis. However, students must earn their way on the trip. In addition to this, each student participating on this trip must be academically eligible at the time the trip is taken. Fundraising will be carried out to lower the out of pocket expense for you as the parent. Please keep in mind that this will not eliminate an out of pocket expense for you. The cost of the trip is $731.04; please keep in mind that this price is subject to change. There is a $50 security deposit (non refundable) that must be paid by each student participating in this competition by no later than Friday, September 4, 2015. El próximo año escolar estaremos participando en la competencia nacional de bandas de Heritage Music Festival del 26 al 30 de Mayo del 2016 en Anaheim, CA. Este viaje les dará la oportunidad a los estudiantes de participar en una competencia nacional que podría usarse para el currículo de su hijo/hija cuando llenen sus aplicaciones para la universidad y/o becas en el futuro. No se dará una calificación para este viaje, por esta razón no es un viaje obligatorio. El viaje de banda estará basado en voluntad propia. Todos los alumnos serán responsables de pajar su propio viaje y estar pasando todas sus clases para cuando el viaje se lleve a cabo. Estaremos llevando actividades durante el ano para recaudar fondos para ayudar en minimizar el costo total del viaje. Tengan en cuenta que estas actividades puedan que no eliminen el costo total para los padres. El costo de este viaje es de $731.04 por estudiante, este precio está sujeto a cambio. Hay un depósito de $50 (no reembolsable) que deberá de ser pajado por cada estudiante participando en esta competencia no más tardar del Viernes, 4 de Septiembre del 2015. Student & Parent/Legal Guardian Terms 1. I, the parent/legal guardian, am responsible for paying the $50 secure deposit (non refundable) by no later than Friday, September 4, 2015. 2. I, the parent/legal guardian, understand that the cost of the trip ($731.04) is subject to change. 3. All student band account balances must be paid off a one months prior to departure (April 22, 2016). 4. All monies from fundraisers will be used to cover the travel expenses of the student and band uniform and are non-refundable. 5. All out of pocket monies will be non-refundable if cancelled on or after Friday, December 11, 2015. 6. Any remaining balances will be paid off by the parent/legal guardian. 7. Each student participating on this trip must be academically eligible at the time the trip is taken. 8. Chaperones and/or the band director will NOT be allowed to hold or take care of money for any student. Students must carry their own money. 9. If I, the parent/legal guardian, decide not to allow my child/children to participate at a later time after agreeing to this contract, all fundraised and collected monies will be used by the C.M.S. band program. 10. If your child is on medication or needs special care, the chaperones or the director will not be able to administer and or carry any medications. But the director and chaperones will be inform of such needs. 11. In the future, there will be mandatory meetings for all parents to attend. 12. Be aware that this and/or any information about our involvement in the Heritage Music Festival is subject to change at any given time with or without warning.

Todo dinero que sea pagado de su bolsa será no reembolsable si se cancela el o después del viernes 11 de Diciembre del 2015. 6. Cualquier balance pendiente será pagado por completo por el padre de familia. 7. Todo estudiante tomando parte en este viaje de competencia deberá de estar pasando todas sus clases al momento de viajar. 8. El director de banda y/o chaperones no serán responsables de cargar ningún dinero de algún estudiante. Cada estudiante deberá cargar su propio dinero. 9. Si yo, padre de familia, decido no dejar a mi hijo/hija participar en o después de la fecha establecida por este contrato, todo dinero recaudado será usado por el programa de banda de C.M.S. 10. Si su hijo/hija está tomando algún medicamento o necesita atención especial, el director y/o chaperones no tendrán autorización para dar o cargar cualquier medicamento. Pero se le informara al director y chaperones de estas necesidades. 11. En el futuro abran juntas obligatorias para todos los padres de familia. 12.
