2 Drzewa, klimat i pokój Aktywność człowieka w zatrważającym tempie zmienia środowisko naturalne i wpływa na procesy globalnych zmian klimatycznych, które coraz częściej przejawiają się rosnącą falą upałów, suszami, huraganami, ulewami i powodziami. Stoją przed nami priorytetowe zadania, takie jak spowolnienie i ostateczne odwrócenie procesu wylesienia, gdyż jest on odpowiedzialny za ok. 20% globalnych emisji gazów cieplarnianych więcej niż wszystkie formy transportu, które stanowią ok. 14% globalnych emisji. Sadzenie drzew pozostaje jednym z najbardziej opłacalnych sposobów przeciwdziałania zmianom klimatycznym. Drzewa i lasy są niezbędnym elementem regulacji klimatu, ponieważ pochłaniają dwutlenek węgla i zawierają, jak się ocenia, o 50% więcej węgla niż atmosfera. Klub Gaja już 20 lat zajmuje się ochroną środowiska naturalnego. Od 2003 r. prowadzimy program Święto Drzewa zachęcając uczestników do ochrony i sadzenia drzew na świecie Święto Drzewa 2005 r., Polska For already 20 years, Klub Gaja deals with the protection of natural environments. Frá árinu 2003 höfum við leitt dagskrá á degi trésins og hvetjum þátttakendur til að vernda og gróðursetja tré á jörðinni okkar Dagur trésins 2005, Póllandi. Drzewa odgrywają znaczącą rolę nie tylko w środowisku przyrodniczym ale także kulturowym i społecznym. Zaopatrują ludność w rozmaite produkty i usługi, dostarczając m.in. żywności, drewna, celulozy, leków i energii oraz przyczyniając się do ochrony żyzności ziem, zasobów wód i różnorodności biologicznej. Sadząc drzewa, zasiewamy ziarna pokoju i ziarna nadziei powiedziała laureatka Pokojowej Nagrody Nobla, twórczyni Kenijskiego Pasa Zieleni, prof. Wangari Maathai. Pamiętajmy także, że pokój na Ziemi zależy także od tego, czy będziemy w stanie zachować środowisko naturalne dla przyszłych pokoleń. Trees, climate and peace The rapid pace of human development has a great effect on the natural environment and global climate change, which is increasing the amount of heat waves, droughts, hurricanes, downpours and floods. The human race is faced with major concerns, such as; decreasing and turning back the process of deforestation, as it is responsible for about 20 % of greenhouse gas emissions more than the gas emissions of all means of transportation, which are responsible for about 14% of total emissions. Planting trees is one of the most rewarding ways of avoiding climate change. Trees and forests are necessary elements that regulate the climate, the reason for that is because they absorb carbon dioxide and contain 50% more carbon dioxide than the atmosphere. Trees play an important role not only in nature but also in cultures. They provide life to people in terms of supplying them with various goods and services, in particular; food, wood, cellulose, medicine and energy as well as they fertilize land, provide water resources and biological diversity. When planting trees, we sow seeds of peace and hope the Noble Peace prize winner and the Kenyan Green Belt Movement creator, professor Wangari Maathai, once said. We should also remember, that peace on earth also depends on whether we are capable of maintaining natural environments for generations to come. We would like to welcome all to join the Tree Day program, to work together for our planet Earth.

3 Los árboles, el clima, la paz La actividad del hombre hace cambiar el medioambiente en un ritmo feroz, influyendo en los procesos globales de cambios climáticos, que se manifiestan cada vez con mayor frecuencia mediante las sequías, períodos de intenso calor, huracanes, aguaceros e inundaciones. Tenemos que enfrentar la tarea prioritaria que consiste en frenar el rápido avance del proceso de deforestación del mundo, que es la causa principal de la emisión, a escala global, de unos 20% de gases de efecto invernadero. Esta cifra es mayor de lo que emiten en total todos los medios de transporte, que alcanzan 14% de las emisiones globales. El mejor método para resistir a los cambios climáticos consiste en plantar árboles. Los árboles y los bosques son elementos imprescindibles de las regulaciones climáticas, ya que absorben el bióxido de carbono y contienen, según se estima, 50% más de carbono que la atmósfera. Los árboles desempeñan un importante papel no sólo para el medioambiente, sino también en la vida social y cultural. Abastecen a la gente en diferentes productos, tanto alimenticios, como en la madera, celulosa, medicinas y energía. Gracias a los árboles quedan protegidas las tierras de cultivo y las reservas de agua. Son elementos importantes de la diversidad biológica. Al plantar árboles, sembramos las semillas de paz y esperanza, dijo la Premio Nobel, prof. Wangari Maathai, fundadora de la Faja Verde de Kenia. Tenemos que recordar también que la paz en el mundo depende, entre otros factores, de nuestra capacidad de conservar el medioambiente para las futuras generaciones. Por lo tanto, queremos invitar a todos a participar en el programa Fiesta del Arbol, que es una labor común a favor de la Tierra. La Fundación Amigos del Chocó planta árboles cada año, con la intención de promover la idea de la paz en el mundo Fiesta del Arbol 2006, Colombia Stofnunin Amigos del Choco gróðursetur tré á ári hverju með það að markmiði að stuðla að friði á jörð Dagur trésins 2006, Kólumbía. Tré, loftslag og friður Hin öra þróun mannsins hefur mikil áhrif á umhverfið og loftslagsbreytingar á jörðinni sem eykur fjölda hitabylgna, þurrka, fellibylja, úrhellis og flóða. Został założony przez Jacka Bożka w roku Misją Klubu Gaja jest ochrona naszej planety Ziemi oraz zachowanie środowiska naturalnego dla nas i dla przyszłych pokoleń. About Klub Gaja Jeśli społeczeństwu konsumpcyjnemu zostawimy wybór, to zawsze wybierze zysk przed ochroną środowiska naturalnego. To od nas zależy, czy zdołamy zrównoważyć takie podejście do świata. Naszą szansą na dobrą jakość życia na Ziemi jest uszanowanie praw przyrody i świadome działanie. Warto uświadomić sobie jak wiele zależy od naszych decyzji. If we give a choice to the materialistic society, they will always choose gaining profit over protecting natural environments. Only we can decide to find a balance in life. Our chance for a good quality of living on earth is only possible if the laws of nature are respected. It is worthwhile to realize how much depends on our decisions. I would like to welcome everyone to take part in the Tree Day program, as everyone can plant a tree for our Earth. Klub Gaja is one of the leading independent social organizations that deals with environmental protection and animal rights in Poland. It was created by Jacek Bożek in Klub Gaja s mission is to protect our planet Earth as well as preserve the natural behavior of our environment for us and generations to come. For already 20 years, Klub Gaja deals with the protection of natural environments. We lead nationwide campaigns and programs with aims to protect rivers, river valleys, trees, forestation and forest density to minimize the outcome of climate change on Earth. We remind the public about threats resulting from human activity as well as our responsibility for the condition of the environment. The aim of Klub Gaja is also to increase social awareness of animal protection by convincing the public that animal rights and the welfare of animals are an integral part of preserving natural environments and directly effects our quality of life. We Also deal with education. We inspire children, teenagers, teachers, companies, local societies and governments to act in aid of Earth. Participants of our programs plant trees, adopt rivers and streams, pick up waste and help animals. In our educational activities, events and workshops, we use non-conventional methods and various forms of art.

5 Klub Gaja Klub Gaja es una de principales organizaciones sociales independientes que se ocupan de la protección del medioambiente y de los derechos de animales en Polonia. Fue fundada por Jacek Bożek en el año Klub Gaja considera que su misión consiste en proteger nuestro planeta y mantener el medioambiente tanto para nosotros como para las futuras generaciones. Klub Gaja desarrolla sus actividades con el fin de proteger el medioambiente ya desde hace 20 años. Nuestras campañas de protección de la naturaleza alcanzan el nivel nacional en Polonia, como también los programas de proteción de los ríos y sus cauces, de los árboles y de plantación de bosques, con el objetivo de disminuir los efectos del cambio climático en la Tierra. Tratamos de llamar la atención de la opinión pública indicando los peligros y problemas ecológicos relacionados con las actividades del hombre, así como resaltando la responsabilidad común de la humanidad por el estado del medioambiente. Klub Gaja considera también como su objetivo aumentar la conciencia de la sociedad en el ámbito de la protección de animales, tratando de demostrar a la opinion pública que la observación de los derechos de los animales y la protección de su bienestar es parte integral de la protección del medioambiente e influye directamente en la calidad de nuestra vida. Entre las ocupaciones de Klub Gaja está también la educación. Tratamos de inspirar a los niños, jóvenes, maestros de escuelas, a las comunidades locales, organismos de autogestión locales y diferentes empresas a que tomen parte en las acciones a favor de la Tierra. Los participantes de nuestros programas plantan árboles, crean jardines, adoptan ríos y arroyos, recolectan papeles viejos para su reciclaje y prestan ayuda a los animales. En nuestras actividades de instrucción, talleres y eventos aprovechamos diferentes métodos no convencionales, así como varias formas del arte. Si permitimos que la sociedad de consumo tenga la posibilidad de elegir, siempre elegirá el provecho, antes que la protección del medioambiente. Sólo de nosotros depende si lograremos equilibrar esa actitud con respecto al mundo. Nuestras posibilidades de llevar una vida de buena calidad en la Tierra dependen de nuestra capacidad de respetar la natraleza y sus derechos y de actuar conscientemente. Es importante que nos demos cuenta cuánto depende de nuestras decisiones. Por lo tanto, quiero invitarles a participar en el programa Fiesta del Arbol. Markmið Klub Gaja er einnig að auka félagsvitund almennings um verndun dýra með því að sannfæra almenning um að réttindi dýra og velferð þeirra séu óaðskiljanlegur þáttur þess að vernda náttúrlegt umhverfi og að það hafi bein áhrif á lífsgæði okkar. Við sinnum einnig fræðslu. Við hvetjum börn, unglinga, kennara, fyrirtæki, staðbundin samtök og ríkisstjórnir til að vinna í þágu jarðarinnar. Þátttakendur í verkefnum okkar gróðursetja tré, ættleiða ár og læki, týna úrgang og hjálpa dýrum. Í fræðslustarfi okkar, viðburðum og námskeiðum notum við óhefðbundnar aðferðir og ýmis listform. 6 O programie Święto Drzewa Święto Drzewa jest programem edukacji ekologicznej Klubu Gaja realizowanym od 2003 roku, którego inauguracją jest ogólnopolska i międzynarodowa akcja sadzenia drzew co roku 10 października. Nasze przesłanie Zasadźmy drzewo dla pokoju dociera do 35 krajów na świecie. Celem programu jest edukacja dla rozwoju zrównoważonego i podnoszenie świadomości ekologicznej społeczeństwa w zakresie ochrony środowiska i zmian klimatu na Ziemi. Wspólne sadzenie drzew w ramach programu, przyczynia się do zwiększenia zalesienia i zadrzewienia oraz do zmniejszenia skutków zmian klimatycznych na Ziemi. Maciej Nowicki Minister Środowiska Minister of The Environment Ministro de Medioambiente de Polonia Umhverfisráðherra Święto Drzewa jest przykładem edukacji aktywnej, skierowanej na partycypację, zmierzającej do rozwijania społeczeństwa odpowiedzialnego i akceptującego zasady zrównoważonego rozwoju, umiejącego współpracować na rzecz środowiska. Program opiera się na lokalnej aktywności, w szczególności dzieci i młodzieży, przy szerokim udziale społecznym m.in. lokalnych społeczności, samorządów, administracji publicznej, organizacji społecznych i biznesu. W V edycji Święta Drzewa w 2007 roku przy szerokim udziale społecznym posadziliśmy drzewa! Zebraliśmy 220 ton makulatury! W programie uczestniczyło osób! Uważam, iż projekt Święto Drzewa doskonale wpisuje się w działania edukacji dla zrównoważonego rozwoju. Angażuje społeczności lokalne, w szczególności dzieci i młodzież oraz kształtuje odpowiedzialność w zakresie racjonalnego korzystania z zasobów naturalnych, w celu zachowania ich dla przyszłych pokoleń. Jestem przekonany, że projekt ten przyczyni się do zwiększenia świadomości w zakresie ochrony przyrody, różnorodności biologicznej i klimatu, a także wpłynie na kształtowanie postaw proekologicznych. Dlatego też z przyjemnością przyjmuję honorowy patronat nad tym przedsięwzięciem. Organizatorom oraz wszystkim uczestnikom programu życzę wielu sukcesów i satysfakcji z podejmowanych działań. I believe that the Tree Day project is ideal in terms of educating people in balanced development. It engages local societies in particular kids and teenagers and also it raises the awareness of responsibility in terms of rational use of natural resources, with the aim to conserve them for future generations. I am convinced, that this project will create greater awareness and understanding of the importance of environmental protection, biological diversity and the climate, as well as have a positive effect on the development of pro-ecological attitudes. Therefore, I accept with pleasure the honorable patronage over this enterprise. About the Tree Day Program Tree Day is an educational program of Klub Gaja formed in 2003, where on the 10 th of October people around the world plant trees. Our statement Lets plant a tree for peace reaches 35 countries worldwide. The aim of the program is educational and to raise awareness of ecological matters in terms of environmental protection and climate change on earth. Mutual tree planting within the program causes an increase in forest growth and forest density, which decreases the negative effects of climate change on Earth. Tree Day is an example of an educational activity, directed at participation, aimed at developing a society which is responsible, accepts sustained development, cooperates and respects the environment. The program is based on local activity, especially among children and teenagers, with a wide social range from local communities and governments to social organizations and businesses. In the V edition of Tree Day in 2007 involving wide public participation we planted 36,262 trees! We gathered 220 tons of waste! And 57,309 people participated! I would like to wish all the organizers and participants of this program great success and satisfaction in their work.

7 El programa Fiesta del Arbol La Fiesta del Arbol es un programa de educación ecológica realizado por el Klub Gaja desde el año Se inaugura cada año el día 10 de Octubre, cuando se lleva a cabo la acción de plantar árboles, tanto en toda Polonia, como también en otros países. Nuestro mensaje: Plantemos un árbol para la paz llega a 35 países del mundo. El programa tiene por objetivo educar a la gente de acuerdo con los principios del desarrollo sostenible y mejorar la conciencia ecológica de la sociedad en la materia de la protección del medioambiente y de los cambios climáticos en nuestro planeta. La Fiesta del Arbol es un ejemplo de la educación activa, enfocada en la participación de mucha gente, que ayuda a formar una sociedad responsable que acepta las reglas del desarrollo sostenible del mundo y es capaz de colaborar a favor del medioambiente. El programa se basa en las actividades locales, especialmente las de los niños y jóvenes, con una amplia participación social, de las comunidades locales, organismos de autogestión local y de administración pública, organizaciones sociales y empresas. Durante la V edición de la Fiesta del Arbol 2007, contando con una amplia participación de la gente, logramos plantar árboles! Logramos recolectar 220 toneladas de papel viejo para el reciclaje! personas participaron en el programa! Um verkefnið Dagur trésins Dagur trésins er fræðsluverkefni Klub Gaja sem stofnað var árið 2003, þar sem fólk um allan heim gróðursetur tré 10. október ár hvert. Skilaboð okkar: Gróðursetjum tré fyrir frið nær til um 35 landa um allan heim. Creo que el proyecto de la Fiesta del Arbol encaja perfectamente en las actividades de la educación a favor del desarrollo sostenible. Compromete a las comunidades locales, especialmente a los jóvenes y niños, ayuda a formar la responsabilidad por la explotación racional de las riquezas naturale para poder guardarlas para las generaciones futuras. Estoy convencido de que gracias a este proyecto aumentará la conciencia social en la materia de la protección de la naturaleza, diversidad biológica y climática y que las actividades del programa influirá en la formación de la actitud pro-ecológica en la sociedad. Por estas razones, acepto con placer el patrocinio honorífico del programa Fiesta del Arbol. Me permito formular votos a que todos los participantes del programa disfruten de las actividades que emprendan y que éstas sean exitosas y les traigan mucha satisfacción. Það virkjar staðbundin samtök og þá sérstaklega börn og unglinga og eykur einnig vitund um ábyrgð hvað varðar skynsamlega notkun náttúruauðlinda, með það að markmiði að varðveita þær fyrir komandi kynslóðir. Ég er sannfærður um að þetta verkefni mun skapa meiri vitund og skilning á mikilvægi umhverfisverndar, líffræðilegrar fjölbreytni og loftslags, jafnt og hafa jákvæð áhrif á þróun vistvænna viðhorfa. Þar af leiðandi samþykki ég með ánægju virðingarverðan stuðning við þetta framtak. Ég óska öllum skipuleggjendum og þátttakendum þessarar dagskrár mikils árangurs og ánægju í starfi þeirra. Markmið verkefnisins er fræðslutengt og til að auka vitund um vistfræðileg málefni hvað varðar umhverfisvernd og loftslagsbreytingar á jörðinni. Sameiginleg gróðursetning trjáa innan verkefnisins veldur auknum vexti og þéttleika skóga, sem svo dregur úr neikvæðum áhrifum loftslagsbreytinga á jörðina. Dagur trésins er dæmi um fræðslustarf, miðað að þátttöku, sem stefnir að þróun samfélags sem er ábyrgt, samþykkir sjálfbæra þróun, vinnur með og virðir umhverfið. 8 Kampania Miliarda Drzew Od 2007 r. program Święto Drzewa bierze udział w Kampanii Miliarda Drzew dla Planety prowadzonej przez Program Narodów Zjednoczonych do spraw Ochrony Środowiska (UNEP) ogólnoświatowej inicjatywy sadzenia drzew, aby sprostać wyzwaniom, jakie niosą zmiany klimatyczne. Do chwili obecnej inicjatywa, realizowana pod patronatem laureatki Pokojowej Nagrody Nobla, twórczyni Kenijskiego Pasa Zieleni, prof. Wangari Maathai oraz Jego Wysokości Księcia Monako Alberta II, osiągnęła z naddatkiem wszystkie cele 2 miliardy drzew i zainicjowała sadzenie drzew w 155 krajach. 9 La campaña de Mil Millones de Arboles A partir del año 2007, el programa Fiesta del Arbol es parte de la Campaña de Mil Millones de Arboles para el Planeta, llevada por el Programa de Naciones Unidas para los asuntos de la Protección del Medioambiente (UNEP) que es una iniciativa mundial de plantar árboles con el objetivo de responder a los desafíos que traen los cambios climáticos. Hasta la actualidad, dicha iniciativa, realizada bajo el patrocinio de la Premio Nobel, fundadora de la Faja Verde de Kenia, profesora Wangari Maathai y Su Excelencia Príncipe de Mónaco, Alberto II, logró e incluso superó todos sus objetivos la plantación de 2 mil millones de árboles y la acción, iniciada en 155 países, de poblar terrenos con árboles. El nuevo desafío que se plantean los autores de la Campaña de Mil Millones de Arboles para los años 2008 y 2009 consiste en plantar 7 mil millones de árboles! 11 Arboles para la Paz Cada año nuestro mensaje Plantemos un árbol para la paz llega a 35 países del mundo. Cada uno de nosotros puede plantar un árbol con la intención para la paz en el mundo. Los árboles para la paz fueron plantados en: Polonia, República Checa, Italia, Colombia, Pakistán, Perú, Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, Hungría y Lituania, en Holanda, Japón, Gran Bretaña, Dinamarca, Alemania, Irlanda, India y en otros países. A nuestro llamamiento contestaron los miembros de la Fundación Ashoka y las organizaciones ecológicas y de derechos humanos. En diferentes lugares del mundo, la Fiesta del Arbol, no consiste sólo en la plantación de árboles con la intención para la paz, sino también en numerosas actividades y proyectos a favor de la protección del medioambiente, de cooperación y tolerancia y del desarrollo sostenible. 14 Udział Lasów Państwowych Od I edycji w 2003 r. partnerem strategicznym programu Święto Drzewa są Lasy Państwowe 428 Nadleśnictw w kraju. Lasy Państwowe to organizacja od ponad 80 lat chroniąca, użytkująca i kształtująca polskie lasy, które są majątkiem narodowym. Zachowanie trwałości lasów oraz ciągłość i zrównoważone wykorzystanie wszystkich pełnionych przez nie funkcji to podstawowe zadanie Lasów Państwowych. Ekologia i funkcje środowiskowe lasów stały się podstawą nowoczesnej gospodarki leśnej, gospodarki wielofunkcyjnej prowadzącej do utrzymania i powiększania zasobów leśnych i przyrodniczych z myślą o przyszłych pokoleniach. Due to widely acknowledged social environmental education, each year State Forest s inspires forest inspectorates to the gratuitous delivery of seedlings to the participants of the Tree Day program. Forest inspectorates commit to mutual work with educational offices that often co-ordinate local workings on their own terrain. Each year, State Forest s also serve to help their specialists forest rangers, in the field of ecological education.

15 Participación de los Bosques Estatales en Polonia A partir de la I edición del programa en el año 2003, la institución Bosques Estatales es socio estratégico de Fiesta del Arbol en Polonia en el evento participan 428 jefaturas de distritos forestales del país. Los Bosques Estatales es una organización que desde hace 80 años protege, explota y forma los bosques polacos que pertenecen al patrimonio nacional. La tarea principal de Bosques Estatales consiste en mantener la existencia de los bosques, tanto como la continuidad y la explotación equilibrada de todas las funciones que los bosques desempeñan. La ecología y las funciones medioambientales de los bosques llegaron a ser la base de una economía forestal moderna, multifunctional, orientada a mantener y aumentar las reservas forestales y naturales para las futuras generaciones. Teniendo en cuenta la educación ecológica de la sociedad, cada año Bosques Estatales tratan de inspirar a las jefaturas de distritos forestales a que ofrezcan, sin costo, plantones de árboles a los participantes del programa Fiesta del Arbol. Las mencionadas jefaturas establecen la cooperación con las escuelas y otras instituciones educacionales y, a menudo, coordinan las actividades locales en su distrito. Asimismo, los especialistas silvicultores de Bosques Estatales prestan su ayuda en materia de la educación ecológica. Ríkisskógar eru samtök, sem ná aftur um 80 ár og vernda og þróa pólska skóga, sem eru ríkiseignir. Varðveisla skóga er helsta markmið ríkisskóga. 16 Działania i udział społeczny Święto Drzewa obejmuje m.in. takie działania jak: sadzenie lasu, zakładanie parków, ogrodów przyszkolnych, sadzenie drzew w intencji pokoju, odszukiwanie starych drzew i świadków historii, zbieranie nasion, zbiórkę makulatury, warsztaty, lekcje tematyczne i zajęcia w terenie. Program Święto Drzewa rozwija także kreatywność i pomysłowość uczestników poprzez przygotowanie spektakli, konkursów plastycznych, fotograficznych i literackich, w ten sposób uczestnicy uczą się połączeń i zależności pomiędzy środowiskiem przyrodniczym, społecznym, kulturowym. Działania w ramach Święta Drzewa realizowane są przy szerokim udziale społecznym. Włączenie się lokalnych społeczności w obchody Święta Drzewa organizowane przez placówki oświatowe, samorządy, instytucje, firmy umożliwiło społecznościom lokalnym i różnym grupom społecznym zainteresowanym ochroną środowiska wprowadzenie Święta Drzewa do kalendarza corocznych działań na rzecz ochrony środowiska. Works and Social Participation Tree Day is involved in: planting forest s, forming parks and gardens, planting trees with the purpose of creating peace, locating old trees and trees that have been through historical events, the picking of seeds, picking waste, conducting workshops, thematic lessons and outdoor activities. The Tree Day program develops a creative and ingenious way of thinking in participants through the course of preparing presentations and art, photography and literature contests. In this way participants learn about the importance and links between the natural environment, society and culture. Works within Tree Day are shaped through wide social participation. Involvement of local society s in Tree Day are organized through schools, institutions, and businesses, which make it capable for local society s and various social groups interested in environmental protection, to get involved in the annual environmental works.

17 Actividades y participación social La Fiesta del Arbol abarca actualmente tales actividades como: plantación de bosques, creación de parques y jardines, plantación de árboles con la intención para la paz, búsqueda de árboles viejos y árboles-testigos de la historia, recolección de semillas, recolección de maculatura, talleres, clases temáticas y clases en el terreno. El programa de la Fiesta del Arbol permite también desarrollar la creatividad e ingeniosidad de sus participantes, mediante la preparación de espectáculos, concursos plásticos, fotográficos y literarios; de la misma manera los participantes aprenden que existen vínculos y dependencia mútuas entre el medioambiente y el ambiente social y cultural. Las diversas actividades de la Fiesta del Arbol se realizan con amplia participación social. Como en las celebraciones de la Fiesta del Arbol, organizadas por las instituciones educacionales, de autogestión local y empresas participan las comunidades locales y diferentes grupos sociales interesados en la protección del medioambiente, esos grupos pudieron introducir la Fiesta del Arbol en su agenda anual de actividades a favor del medioambiente. W sadzeniu drzew uczestniczyły nie tylko dzieci i młodzież ale także urzędnicy i samorządowcy. Urząd Miasta Koszalin w V edycji programu zaangażował największą ilość uczestników 3800 osób, w tym Zakład Karny i Centrum Szkolenia Sił Powietrznych. Współpracujemy także z firmami, które wprowadzają nowe strategie i rozwiązania ekologiczne, angażując się w działania społeczne związane z ochroną klimatu. Działania firm LeasePlan, Troton, Eco Service, Comarch partnerów programu Swięto Drzewa, przyczyniają się do zwiększenia zalesienia określonych terenów i do podnoszenia świadomości społecznej w zakresie roli odnowień i zalesień w absorpcji CO 2. Współpraca w ramach Święta Drzewa pomiędzy podmiotami z różnych sektorów buduje kapitał zaufania oraz przyczynia się do propagowania idei zrównoważonego rozwoju opartego na korzystaniu z zasobów środowiska naturalnego w sposób odpowiedzialny i gwarantujący zachowanie tych zasobów dla przyszłych pokoleń. Klub Gaja in the realization of the Tree Day program in the years with cooperation from Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway is a public organization from Iceland called Spkógraektarflelag Grinavikur, which deals with the protection and planting of trees in Grindavik, located in the southeast part of the island. An example of good practice is our mutual work the local governments. The District of Central Ecological Education in Limanowo in the year of 2007 planted 768 trees. In the tree planting process not only children and teenagers were involved but also government officials. The City Hall of Koszalin in the fifth edition of the program had the largest number of participants 3800 partakers, including criminal institution and the Centre of Air Force Training. We also co-work with companies, which introduce new strategies, ecological solutions and engage in social works that have to do with the protection of climate change. The works of LeasePlan, Troton, Eco Service, Comarch partners of the Tree Day program, contribute to the goals of increasing forestation in specific areas and raising social awareness of the threats of deforestation on the climate. Mutual work within Tree Day and subjects of various areas build trust funds and contribute to spreading ideas of sustained development based on the usage of natural resources in a conscientious way while guarantying accessibility to these resources for future generation.

19 Buenas prácticas En el marco del programa Fiesta del Arbol se desarrolla la cooperación internacional y multilateral. El copartícipe de la realización del proyecto en los años , que cuenta con el apoyo de Islandia, Lichtenstein, Noruega, es la organización social islandesa Skógræktarfélag Grindavíkur, que se ocupa de la plantación y protección de árboles en Grindavik, ubicado en la parte sudeste de la isla. Como otro ejemplo de buenas prácticas, podemos citar nuestra cooperación con los organismos de autogestión local en Polonia. Centro de Educación Ecológica de la Jefatura de Distrito de Limanowa plantó 768 árboles en el año En esa acción tomaron parte no sólo los niños y jóvenes, sino también empleados y miembros del organismo local de autogestión. La Alcaldía de la ciudad de Koszalin, en la V edición del programa, logró organizar al número más elevado de participantes: 3800 personas, entre otras personas del centro penitenciario y del Centro de Formación de Fuerzas Aéreas. Entramos en cooperación también con las empresas que introducen nuevas estrategias y soluciones ecológicas y que participan en las actividades sociales relacionadas con la protección del clima. Las empresas LeasePlan, Troton, Eco Service, Comarch copartícipes del programa Fiesta del Arbol, contribuyen con sus actividades al aumento de la población de bosques en determinados terrenos y al mejoramiento de la conciencia social en la materia de la importancia de la renovación de bosques en la absorción de CO 2. La cooperación, en el marco del programa Fiesta del Arbol entre los sujetos de diferentes sectores inspira la confianza recíproca y, además, ayuda a propagar la idea del desarrollo equilibrado y sostenible, fundado en la explotación responsaable del medioambiente, que garantiza su conservación para las generaciones futuras. Í fimmtu útgáfu verkefnisins átti Ráðhús Koszalin mestan fjölda þátttakenda eða 3800 þátttakendur, þar á meðal úr fangelsum og þjálfunarmiðstöð flughersins. Við vinnum einnig í samvinnu við fyrirtæki, sem kynna nýjar aðferðir, vistfræðilegar lausnir og taka þátt í félagslegu starfi sem tengist verndun loftslagsbreytinga. Starf LeasePlan, Troton, Eco Service og Comarch samstarfsaðila verkefnisins Dagur trésins leggja sitt að mörkum við að ná markmiðum um aukna skógrækt á ákveðnum svæðum og að auka félagslega vitund um yfirvofandi hættur fyrir loftslagið sökum skógeyðingar.
