1 Tioga's 2017 ABC Countdown As the end of the year approaches, we want to celebrate the success of our students with an ABC countdown. Students will participate in activities, learn about new topics, or wear something specific to celebrate our last 26 days of school! We are looking forward to counting down. Tuesday, May 2nd: A is for Appreciation and Apple Day -Write cards to someone you really appreciate. -Bring an apple for snack. Wednesday, May 3rd: B is for Book Day -Students bring their favorite book to school. Thursday, May 4th: C is for Color Day -Kindergarten wears red. -First grade wears purple. -Second grade wears yellow. -Third grade wears tan. -Fourth grade wears blue. -Fifth grade wears green. Friday, May 5 th : D is for Dance Day -Have a dance break during the school day. Monday, May 8 th : Exercise Day -Students will take time to exercise during the day. Tuesday, May 9 th : F is for Fact vs. Fiction -Students will participate in a fact vs. fiction guessing game. Give a clue about something or someone and the students guess if it fact or fiction. Wednesday, May 10 th : G is for Go Outside Day -Students will go outside for a brain break. Thursday, May 11 th : H is for Hat or Hidden Picture Day -Wear a hat to school and take some time to complete some hidden picture puzzles. Friday, May 12 th : I is for Inch Your Way to the Finish Line! Today is Tioga s 3 rd Annual FUN RUN!!!
2 -Students will participate in the annual fun run! Monday, May 15 th : J is for Joke Day -Students can share some of their favorite jokes in class. Tuesday, May 16 th : K is for Kind Day -Our students will participate in acts of Kindness for classmates, family, and friends. Wednesday, May 17 th : L is for Little and Big Day -Little and big kids do an activity together. Thursday, May 18 th : M is for Maze or Music Day -Students will complete a maze in class. -Students will listen to their favorite music. Friday, May 19 th : N is for Nature Day -Students will spend time in nature. Monday, May 22 nd : O is for Outside Day -Students will read and write outdoors. Tuesday, May 23 rd : P is for Popsicle Day -Students will have a special treat during the school day. Wednesday, May 24 th : Q is for Quiet Ball or Question Day -Students will play a game of silent ball. -The class will learn the game 20 questions. Thursday, May 25 th : R is for Relay Race or Read Under a Tree Day -Students will complete relay races outside. -Students will go outside to read under a tree. Friday, May 26 th : S is for Sports/Sunglasses/Silly Socks Day -Students can wear a sports t-shirt, sunglasses, and/or silly socks. Monday, May 29th: No School! Memorial Day! Tuesday, May 30 th : T is for Tioga T-Shirt Day -Students wear their favorite Tioga t-shirt. Wednesday, May 31 st: U is for Un-Birthday -We will celebrate all the students that have a summer birthday today!
3 Thursday, June 1st: V is for Veggie Day -Students can bring veggies for snack. Friday, June 2 nd : W is for Workout Day. It s Field Day!! -Students will participate in Tioga s Field Day activities outside! Monday, June 5 th : X-tra Recess Day -Students will exercise during X-tra recess. Tuesday, June 6 th : Y is for Yoga Day -Students will participate in yoga exercises during the school day. Wednesday, June 7 th : Z is for Zip your backpack and Zoom into Summer Break! - Students will participate in last day of school activities to say good-bye to their friends and teachers!

Jueves 4 de mayo: C es para día de color -Kínder usa rojo -Primer grado usa morado -segundo usa amarillo. -tercero usa café. -Cuarto usa azul. -Quinto usa verde. Viernes 5 de mayo: D es para día de baile -durante el día tendremos tiempo de baile. Lunes 8 de mayo: día de ejercicio -los estudiantes tomaran tiempo para hacer ejercicio durante el día. Martes 9 de mayo: F es para realidad y ficción -los estudiantes participaran en un juego donde adivinan si es realidad y ficción. Se dará una pista sobre algo o alguien y los estudiantes adivinan si es realidad o ficción. Miércoles 10 de mayo: G es día de ir afuera -los estudiantes saldrán afuera para relajar la mente Jueves 11 de mayo: H es para día de gorra o día de esconder una foto. -usar una gorra a la escuela y tomarse su tiempo completando unos rompe cabezas buscando fotos Viernes 12 de mayo: I es para una pulgada más cerca a la final, día de la Carrera anual -los estudiantes participaran en la Carrera anual Lunes 15 de mayo: J es para día de chiste

Viernes 19 de mayo: N día de la naturaleza -los estudiantes pasaran tiempo en la naturaleza Lunes 22 de mayo: O día de estar afuera -los estudiantes leerán y escribirán afuera. Martes 23 de mayo: P día de paleta de helado -durante el día los estudiantes recibirán una merienda Miércoles 24 de mayo: Q día de preguntas o jugar el juego de pelota en silencio. -los estudiantes jugaran un juego de silencio con una pelota. - la clase aprenderá el juego de 20 preguntas. Jueves 25 de mayo: R es Carrera de relevo o leer abajo de un árbol -los estudiantes completaran una Carrera de relevo afuera. -los estudiantes saldrán afuera a leer bajo de un árbol. Viernes 26 de mayo: S es para deportes, lentes oscuros, calcetín divertido -los estudiantes podrán usar playera de deportes, lentes oscuros o calcetines divertidos. Lunes 29 de mayo: No hay clases! día de los Caídos (Memorial Day) Martes 30 de mayo: T es para la playera con el logo de Tioga -los estudiantes usara su playera favorita de Tioga. Miércoles 31 de mayo : U es para celebrar los cumpleaños del verano -nosotros celebraremos el cumpleaños de los estudiantes que cumplan años durante el verano. Jueves 1 de Junio: V es día de vegetales. -los estudiantes pueden traer vegetables para aperitivo (snack.)
