My language biography COMO APRENDO LENGUAS HOW I LEARN LANGUAGES Cuando escucho una palabra o frase por primera vez, me gusta... que me la digan varias veces y repetirla luego yo que me hagan gestos para entenderla ver por escrito la palabra o la frase o ver un dibujo adivinar lo que significa Cuando quiero aprender a escribir una palabra nueva, me gusta... YO ESCRIBO LA PALABRA Y HAGO UN DIBUJO PARA NO TRADUCIR leerla, intentar escribirla sin copiar y luego comprobar si la he escrito bien hacer un dibujo y escribir al lado la palabra escucharla primero, repetirla y luego escribirla varias veces escucharla e imaginar cómo se escribe antes de que me lo digan Cuando hablo con los demás, para que me comprendan mejor, o cuando me faltan palabras... utilizo gestos señalo objetos e imágenes imito sonidos pienso, antes de hablar, todas las palabras y frases que necesito HAY MUCHAS FORMAS DE APRENDER UNA LENGUA COMPARA TUS RESPUESTAS CON LAS DE TUS COMPANEROS 5
6 Myself I can understand questions about myself. I can understand when the teacher tells me to do something that I already know.... I can find my name on a list or on the classroom wall... I can answer some questions about myself and my family and say if I like something. I can tell the teacher if I need something. I can copy words from the board.. I can understand what my friends are saying... I can read words that I already know.. I can answer lots of questions about myself and my family.... I can tell my parents about what I did in school I can tell my teacher if I have a problem. I can talk about the colour of my hair and eyes and how tall I am I can write a little about myself and my family and about things I like doing I can easily understand my teachers and my friend... I can read stories about children in other places... I can answer questions about my life and what I like doing I can tell other people about something nice that happened to me... I can write about things that happen and the things I like and don't like.. 6
7 Yo mismo Entiendo preguntas acerca de mi mismo Entiendo cuando el profesor me dice que haga alguna acción que yo conozco (sentarme, poneme en fila ) Puedo encontrar mi nombre en una lista de clase.... Puedo contestar preguntas acerca de mi mismo y mi familia y decir si me gusta algo Puedo decirle al profesor si necesito algo. Sé copiar palabras de la pizarra Soy capar de entender lo que mis amigos están diciendo... Sé leer palabras que ya conozco. Puedo contestar muchas preguntas acerca de mi y de mi familia... Puedo contarles a mis padres lo que hice en el colegio y puedo decirle a mi profesor si tengo un problema.. Soy capaz de conversar acerca del color de mi pelo y de mis ojos y acerca de mi estatura.. Se escribir un poco acerca de mi mismo y de mi familia y acerca de las cosas que me gusta hacer.. Puedo entender con facilidad a mis profesores y amig.. Puedo leer historias acerca de niños de otros sitios... Se contestar preguntas acerca de mi vida y lo que me gusta hacer.... Puedo contarle a otras personas acerca de algo bueno que me ocurrió.. Se escribir acerca de las cosas que ocurren, de las que me gusta y de las que no... 7
8 Our school I can understand some of the things that the teacher says in class and the names for things in the school.. I can understand when my friends tell me how to play a game I can read the names and notices on the doors in my school and on the board I can ask permission to go to the toilet I can ask for things in the classroom. I understand what the teacher says in P.E. I can understand things that I must tell my parents I can read words that I know in a book. I can give a message to the teacher or tell a teacher about a problem.. I can tell the story of what I saw on television I can write a little about my school and my friends. I can write a little about what we are doing in class. I can understand exactly what the teacher says to me. I can understand the other pupils in my class I can read my textbooks in the class.. I can ask the teacher questions in class... I can tell my class about things we are learning.. I can write about my day at home or in school I can write about my friends and what we do together 8
9 Nuestro colegio Entiendo algunas de las cosas que el profesor dice en clase y los nombres de las cosas en el colegio Entiendo cuando mis amigos me dicen cómo jugar a un juego. Puedo leer los nombres y las noticias de las puertas de mi colegio y de la pizarra Se pedir permiso para ir al servicio... Se pedir cosas en la clase..... Entiendo lo que las instrucciones del professor de Educación Física.. Entiendo las cosas que tengo que contra a mis padres. Soy capaz de leer palabras que conozco en un libro.... Puedo dar un mensaje a un maestro o contarle acerca de un problema.. Soy capaz de contar una historia que he visto en televisión Soy capaz de escribir un poco acerca de mi escuela y de mis amigos... Soy capaz de escribir un poco acerca de lo que estoy hacienda en clase Entiendo exactamente lo que el profesor me dice.. Comprendo a los demás alumnos de mi clase.. Sé leer mis libros de texto en clase.. Sé hacer preguntas al maestro en clase. Puedo contar a mi clase acerca de cosas que estamos aprendiendo Sé escribir acerca de mi día en clase o en casa..... 10 Food and clothes I can understand the names of the clothes I wear to school and the food that I eat in school.... I can read the words for the clothes that I know and the food that I like and don't like. I can ask for things in shops and ask how much they cost I can say what food and clothes I like and don't like... I can write words for different foods and for the clothes we wear I can understand when we need different clothes for different activities at school I can understand what foods we are allowed to bring to school.. I can read the names of foods in the supermarket or in a café.. I can understand about clothes when I read a story I can ask and answer questions about drinks and foods. I can describe a meal in my home.. I can write a little about a special occasion in my home and the food that I like and don't like... I can understand talk about food or clothes I can read about food that is good or bad for me I can talk with my friends about the clothes I like.. I can write about making food.. 10

I can watch the weather forecast on TV and understand the main points I can understand when the teacher tells us about weather I can read about weather in my textbook.. I can answer questions about weather... I can talk about weather in Spain and in other countries I can write a short letter describing the weather in Spain and how we dress in different types of weather. 16
