We will have an opportunity to express our gratitude as his three-year term at Santa Maria concludes at the end of March. While at Santa Maria, Father Alexis has been pursuing a demanding on-line doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California Southern University, celebrating the Holy Mass daily, celebrating the Holy Mass on Sundays, hearing Confessions on a weekly basis, coordinating our Altar Servers and holding weekly training meetings with them, imparting Catechist Formation Courses to catechists and future catechists, leading a weekly Bible Study/Faith Sharing class, bringing Holy Communion to the homebound, making outreach Home Visits and most recently imparting an eight-week course on the Sacramental, Spiritual, Societal, and Psychological aspects of Marriage and Family Life. Light refreshments will be served, however you can bring your own cakes and favorite sweets to share if you so desire. Revive is a three-night event coming to the parishes of our archdiocese. Join us to reflect and listen to diverse voices discuss their faith journeys and go home refreshed and ready to put your faith into action. We ask everyone to consider a gift today to replace our church carpeting, repair water damages in our sacristy, fix our rectory buildings, and install a new microphone system. We ask you to be guided by the spirit of Christ in making your decision. Our average commitment of $5390 to date is a wonderful testament of the generosity and faithfulness of our parish family.
