2 A Message from the Pastor, Fr. Anthony Aarons Come Holy Ghost, Creator blest, And in our hearts take up thy rest; Come with thy grace and heavenly aid To fill the hearts which Thou hast made. With these words we began our Holy Hour to the Divine Mercy on the Second Sunday of Easter. On May 26, we started our Pentecost Novena. Today we celebrate the fulfillment for what we have been praying. We have been crying out to the Holy Spirit, asking that we would grow into the gifts of the Holy Spirit - WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING,COUNSEL,FORTITUDE, KNOWLEDGE, PIETY and FEAR OF THE LORD. This seven-fold gift was given to us at the time we received the Sacrament of Confirmation and should be evident in the Fruit of the Spirit that we bear each day - CHARITY, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, GENEROSITY, FAITHFULNESS, MODESTY, SELF-CONTROL and CHASTITY. My prayer for the Parish is that the Holy Spirit will indeed fill the heart of each of us with His presence and that the Holy Spirit will guide all that we do. Yours in the Lord, Fr. Hoy celebramos la promesa por la que hemos estado orando. Hemos acudido al Espítitu Santo, pidiéndole que crezcamos en los dones del Espíritu Santo SABIDURIA, ENTENDIMIENTO, CONSEJO, FORTALEZA, CIENCIA, PIEDAD, y TEMOR A DIOS. Estos siete dones los hemos recibido al momento en que recibimos el Sacramento de la Confirmación y debe ser evidente en el Fruto del Espíritu que llevamos cada día CARIDAD, ALEGRIA, PAZ, PACIENCIA, AMABILIDAD, BONDAD, GENEROSIDAD, FE, MODESTIA, AUTOCONTROL y CASTIDAD. RSVP: Susan Engel, Youth Minister, x. 31 or by at: stpatyouth@stpatrickmtdora.org St. Patrick Catholic Church Blood Drive June 11,, :30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Music Day-Camp June 19-23, 2017 This summer the Music Ministry is offering a Music Day-Camp for our boys and girls in grades 3 (rising 2nd graders) to grade 8 (rising 7th graders). The camp will be limited to the first 20 applicants. Each morning will begin with mass at 9:00am, and then the lessons and activities begin. We will be offering training in hand chimes, vocal technique, choir, specialized instrument classes, music theory, and church music history. We will also play some music games and have lunch together. The week will conclude with a short program after morning mass on Friday. To apply, please go the parish web site at click on the music tab and find the application for Music Day-Camp. Complete the application and to the Parish Director of Music and Organist, Rick Robinson, at rrobinson@stpatrickmtdora.org. Applications will be accepted by the time stamp of the . We can handle only 20 children. The Day-Camp is absolutely free and will be a great deal of fun for the children. Please consider having your child as part of the camp, and hopefully we will develop some new music ministers for St. Patrick to carry on the work of the our Lord.
