2 IMPERATIVES We use Imperatives to tell someone to do something or to give instructions, orders, warnings or directions. Usamos los imperativos para decirle a alguien que haga algo o para dar instrucciones, ordenes, precauciones o direcciones. Imperatives are divided into two groups: Los imperativos están divididos en dos grupos: a) Positive Imperatives (Imperativos positivos) b) Negative Imperatives (Imperativos Negativos) Positive Imperatives To form a positive imperative we use the base form of the verb. The base form is the form in the dictionary. Para formar un imperativo positivo se utiliza la forma base del verbo. Some verbs: read Listen Put Go Do Work Listen! Raise your hands Do your homework Speak English Come here Be quiet Negative Imperatives To form a negative imperative we use: Para formar un imperativo negativo se usa: Do not + the base form of the verb Examples: Do not come here Do not put your hat on the chair Do not drink it Do not park your car here NOTE: The contraction for do not is don t. Do not come here = Don t come here. Do not speak Spanish in the class = Don t speak Spanish in the class. Do not sit there = Don t sit there. Don't come now. Don't clean the living room. Don't play on the computer. Use the exclamation only when you want to make an exclamation, e.g. Stop! Help! The imperative with let's: AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES Let's ask the teacher. NEGATIVE SENTENCES Let's not ask the teacher. Refinamiento: 1. Construcción en pequeño grupo: 1. En pequeño grupo elabora unos letreros de comandos que se deben usar en el salón de clase. ACCESO RECAPITULACIÓN A INFORMACION Socialización al Gran Grupo: 1. Presenta los letreros frente al grupo mostrando imágenes o dibujos de lo que representa el comando. Verificación: Teniendo en cuenta el desarrollo del trabajo individual y el realizado en pequeño grupo se evaluarán los siguientes aspectos: 1. La actitud al momento de desarrollar el trabajo individual y en pequeño grupo. 2. La creatividad en la utilización diferentes herramientas pedagógicas y actividades a nivel individual-grupal. 3. El desempeño de cada rol en su pequeño grupo. 4. El producto final expuesto en clase. Reflexión: Los estudiantes evaluarán su proceso de aprendizaje durante el periodo basados en los siguientes aspectos. DESEMPEÑOS Identifico comandos del salón de clase. 2.
