Confession: Confession Guides and Examination of Consciences are available outside the confessionals and on the website. Confessions can be scheduled anytime (even anonymously) through the parish office. Regular confession times are found on the first page of this bulletin. Anointing of Sick: Please contact parish office to schedule. If admitted to the hospital, please be sure at check-in to register your faith and your parish. 4 Totus Tuus 2015 Mark your calendars! Our third annual Totus Tuus in LaSalle will be July Grades 1 to 6 meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Grades 7 to 12 meet Sunday through Thursday 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. We are glad to welcome this very successful program back to the Illinois Valley. The diocesan sponsored Totus Tuus program is a fun, spiritual program that allows kids to reach a deeper level of religious education through catechesis, prayer, and celebration of the sacraments. If you want to learn more about your faith and strengthen your relationship with God while having a great time with friends and classmates, join us this summer! NEW THIS YEAR: ADULT VOLUNTEERS must all have background checks and take a short safe environment training class. (If you currently volunteer with Parish youth, you have already completed this.) Forms are available in the back of church. Trinity Catholic Academy TCA Summer Hours: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Registration: Registration for Preschool through Grade 8 will be Thursday, July 9, from 9:00 11:00 a.m. and 2:00-6:00 p.m. There will be a Preschool Open House during registration. Trinity Catholic Academy has openings for the following positions for the School Year: Assistant Cafeteria Position: The hours will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. daily. Participants are given the opportunity to deepen their faith and focus on God's will through prayer and the Sacraments. These sessions also include talks on seminary formation and priestly life from current seminarians and priests. Session III: July 5 to 8, 2015 (Freshman & Sophomore HS) Session IV: July 8 to 10, 2015 (Seventh & Eighth Grade) Sessions III and IV are held at St. Bede Abbey in Peru, Illinois. They are designed to help young men get excited about living their faith. Participants will hear informational talks and participate in structured prayer. In addition, there are plenty of fun-filled activities like basketball, cookouts, swimming, concerts, soccer, and ultimate Frisbee. The parish covers most of the cost of the retreat, and we will find funding for any family that needs it. Around the Diocese The Catholic Diocese of Peoria 2015 Annual Charismatic Renewal Conference will be held July 25, 2015 at Embassy Suites, 100 Conference Drive, East Peoria, Illinois. The one-day only conference will also include Spirit-filled praise and worship music and two outstanding speakers: Ralph Martin and Sister Ann Shields, S.G.L. 6 Nota de la Apelación Diocesana En Memoria... Gracias a todos los que han respondido a la Campaña Anual Diocesana 2015! Los fondos ADA son programas diocesanos esenciales que benefician directamente a nuestras parroquias en LaSalle. Recientemente, la Diócesis de Peoria celebró la ordenación de siete hombres; seis sacerdotes y un diácono. Esto es algo de que todos nosotros debemos sentirnos orgullosos porque su formación y educación son posibles a través de nuestro regalo a la ADA. Hasta la fecha, San Jacinto ha comprometido $18,215 lo que es $27,471 por debajo de su meta de $45,686; San Patricio se ha comprometido con $27,423 dólares, que es $7,778 dólares por debajo de su meta de $35,201. Los saldos pendientes de pago se deben hacer desde nuestros fondos parroquiales, así que necesitamos la ayuda de todos ustedes para contribuir y ayudarnos a alcanzar nuestra meta. (2 Corintios 9:7) Recepción de los Sacramentos y Otras Celebraciones Para recibir y celebrar los sacramentos dignamente debemos prepararnos espiritualmente con la oración y la confesión. También tenemos que completar los registros requeridos y programas parroquiales. Por favor llame o escriba a la oficina de la parroquia con anticipación para programar, planificar y recibir un sacramento. Bautismo Los padres y padrinos deben ser miembros activos y registrados de una parroquia católica. También deben asistir a la clase de bautismo que se reúne el primer jueves de cada mes a las 5:15pm (favor de registrarse con Diacono Guerrero o con la oficina de la parroquia). Un formulario de inscripción debe ser completado, despues puede programar la fecha en la oficina de la parroquia. Primera Comunión y Confirmación Cada niño y adulto joven debe completar dos años de clases de catecismo (CCD) y asistir a misa con regularidad para recibir estos sacramentos de la iniciación cristiana. El registro para las clases es en agosto de cada año. Para mas información comunicarse con la directora de catecismo, Sue Calderón, ext. 11; scalderon@lasallecatholic.org Matrimonio Las parejas que se preparan para el Santo Matrimonio deben ser miembros de la parroquia, asistir a misa con regularidad, y deben reunirse con el padre para comenzar la preparación del matrimonio por lo menos ocho meses antes de la fecha de la boda. Oficina de la Parroquia Elevemos nuestras oraciones a Dios para pedir por el eterno decanso de Carmen Vazquez. Que falleció el 9 de Junio El funeral se llevó a cabo el día 17 de Junio en la Parroquia San Jacinto, sus restos descansan en el Cementerio San Jacinto. Emmaus Days 2015 Días Emaús es un programa de sensibilización vocacional patrocinado por la Diócesis de Peoria. Al proporcionar un ambiente espiritual y diversión para los jóvenes, ayudamos a que sean más conscientes de la presencia de Dios en sus vidas y que se entusiasmen a vivir su fe. En el corazón de este proceso de descubrimiento se encuentra la oración. Días Emaús está lleno de oportunidades para orar y aprender, de confesión y adoración eucarística a una variedad de devociones como el rosario y escapulario marrón.
