COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PROGRAM SPONSORED BY CHICAGO MIDWEST MEAT ASSOCIATION FOR CHILDREN OF EMPLOYEES OF MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION The Chicago-Midwest Meat Association will provide twelve (12) scholarships, renewable annually for four (4) years. The award is for Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) initially, renewable at the same rate for four (4) years of undergraduate study in a college or university. The funds will be used to meet the cost of tuition and fees. It is the goal of the Association to award at least four (4) new scholarships and up to twelve (12) annually to children of employees as previous scholars graduate. If there are no applicants of sufficient merit in a given year then none will be awarded. It should also be noted that if, in the judgment of the Association Scholarship Committee, funds are not sufficient to support renewals in years subsequent to the initial award, renewals may be cancelled. ELIGIBILITY The Association Scholarship Committee will determine the eligibility of applicants. In order to be considered for a CMMA scholarship award, applicants must be the children of qualified employees of the Chicago Midwest Meat Association, for at least one (1) year prior to making application. Payments in subsequent years are contingent upon the student s academic good standing and the parent s continued employment with a member of the Association.
