2 Instrucciones para el juego de Valores de Posición para utilizarse en su salón de clases o gimnasio. 1. Imprima todo el material siguiente (Dos Veces = para 2 Equipos), preferiblemente en cartonite tamaño 8.5 x 11. Corte las tarjetas en las líneas continuas. Plastifique para durabilidad. Pegue la Pág. No. 1 en el frente de un sobre manila como portada y guarde el resto del material dentro, almacénelo en un lugar visible y seguro para jugar a menudo. 2. Cuando juegue, coloque las tarjetas con los nombres de los valores de posición en la pizarra siguiendo el ejemplo visual más abajo, de manera que los niños y niñas vean los valores de posición para cada uno de sus equipos y donde los niños y niñas deberán colocarse cuando estén jugando. Ensaye antes de comenzar la puntuación. 3. Tome las tarjetas con números y colóquelas en dos mesas o en el piso (del lado de los números) un poco alejada de la pizarra, separando los equipos una de otro, asegurándose que cada equipo tenga (Números rojos 0-9, azules 0-9, verde 0-9 y amarillos 0-9) verifique que todas las tarjetas estén visibles y en desorden. 4. El primer equipo que se coloque con los números en el orden correcto y visible a los demás será el equipo ganador, acumulando su puntuación hasta llegar a la meta establecida previamente, obteniendo así un equipo ganador final. NOTA: En el transcurso del juego verá como sus estudiantes comenzarán a utilizar estrategias para ser el equipo ganador. Tales como: designar un estudiante con un solo valor de posición como también, colocar los valores de posición (colores) juntos, etc., haciendo así más rápida su operación. Usted deberá aprovechar el momento para enseñar estas estrategias a medida que se presenten y establecer las reglas del juego que son permitidas o no. Este juego trae mucha emoción y ruido.

3 Instructions for the Place Value Game to be use in your classroom or the gymnasium as a whole group activity. 1. Print the entire following material (twice = for 2 Teams) preferably on 8.5 "x 11"Cardstock and cut the cards on the dotted lines. Laminate for durability. Paste page 1 on the front of an envelope as a cover and store the remaining material inside; keep it in a visible and safe place to play often. 2. When playing, place cards with the names of the place value on the board following the visual example below, so that children see the place value for each of their teams and where they shall be placed themselves when they are actually playing. Try and practice before scoring and starting the game. 3. Take the cards with numbers and place them (facing the numbers) on two tables or the floor, a bit away from the board. Make sure to separate the groups from each other. Verify that each team has (Red numbers 0-9, blue 0-9, green 0-9 and yellow 0-9) check that all cards are visible and in disarray. 4. Make two (2) teams and ask the members of each team to place themselves around the cards that correspond to their team. 5. On the count of three, say and write a random number on the board following the visual example. At this time the children of each team must take the number with the corresponding colors or place value and quickly placed themselves in front of the board (See visual example below). Explain in advance that no one should take away the cards from each other. (Challenge - remove the place value on the board and do not write down the numbers, just say them). 6.
