Married Couples, St Sophia & R10 KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 5750 ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PANCAKE BREAKFAST On December 10, after the 8:00 and 9:30 Masses, Knights of Columbus Council 5750 will be hosting their annual Christmas pancake breakfast. Council 5750, in support of St. Vincent De Paul, will be having a toy and coat drive at the pancake breakfast. Please bring new unwrapped toys and lightly used coats to help spread some Christmas joy and warmth to those in need. There will be a big holiday breakfast, live music, and jolly Saint Nicholas will be present to take pictures with your children. Be of good cheer, bring your family, come with a big appetite, and join us for food and fellowship at this festive Christmas-time event!

The First Collection for the weekend of November 25 & 26 amounted to $17, Our Parish needs everyone s help. We spend one hour with Jesus per week at Mass. Can your household also contribute at least one Holy Hour per week in our Adoration Chapel, at least one hour s income per week to the offertory, or at least one hour s service per week to a parish activity? ENGLISH CLASSES All Saints Church is proud to be an official host church for the 2018 Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. YOUTH MUSIC FESTIVAL Bishop O Connell High School invites all 6th through 8th grade students to be a part of their 4 th annual Youth Music Festival on Saturday, Dec. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day includes music clinics, performance and much more. This event is free, but a reservation is necessary. For more information and to register, visit CATHOLIC WOMEN S COUNCIL The Catholic Women s Council Christmas brunch will feature Miriam Van Scott, author of Song of Old: An Advent Calendar for the Spirit. We hope to see you there. English classes for adults will be offered at Our Lady of Angels Church by Catholic Charities Hogar Immigrant Services. Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00pm-9pm in the school. Registration will be December 12 th and 14 th from pm to 9 pm., in St. Sophia Room. For more information, call Hogar Immigrant Services at (571) HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST FOR NON-DIOCESAN 8TH GRADERS Eighth grade students attending public schools or non-catholic private schools who are interested in attending Catholic High Schools in the Diocese of Arlington are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) offered on Saturday, December 2, 2017 or Saturday, January 6, This test is required for placement at Bishop Ireton High School, Bishop O Connell High School, Paul VI High School and Saint John Paul the Great High School. Students must fill out an HSPT Registration Form (available under Frequently Asked Questions under Schools at and submit to the test site by November 30 for the December test. FR. LUNDBERG LEADS PILGRIMAGE TO POLAND Fr. Bjorn Lundberg, Pastor at Sacred Heart Church in Winchester, VA will be the Spiritual Director for an 11 day pilgrimage to Poland and Prague from October 1 to 11, The itinerary includes 2 nights in Warsaw, 1 night in Czestrochawa, 3 nights each in Krakow, and Prague. Visits to Niepokalanow and Wadowice (Home of Saint Pope John Paul II) and Divine Mercy Shrine are planned.
