This year, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels will celebrate the month of All Souls with Evening Prayer and a concert featuring the Fauré Requiem performed by the Cathedral Choir, Samuel Soria, organist and Frank Brownstead conductor. EVENING PRAYER - 5:00 PM CONCERT - 5:30 PM After the concert, the Choir will process to the Mausoleum, followed by all who wish to visit friends and family interred there. CANONIZATION OF FRAY JUNÍPERO SERRA SPECIAL EXHIBIT The Cathedral continues to commemorate the Canonization of the Founder of the Church in California with special exhibits which include a series of original paintings of the California missions by Howard Anderson, as well as works by Mexican Painter Aurelio Mendoza and a newly commissioned piece by local artist Lalo Garcia. In the special chapel, visitors will see two Serra relics: a small piece of bone and a wine-colored stole he wore over his robes. We encourage all to visit the chapel, light a candle and offer a prayer to our newest saint. All exhibits can be found in the South Ambulatory of the Cathedral - located inside the Bronze Doors. Validación para misas selectas: Lunes a Viernes: Al asistir a la misa,el estacionamiento con validación es gratis por 90 minutos. Domingos: 3 horas gratis al asistir a la misa.
